President Donald Trump has ordered defunding the teaching of “un-American propaganda” including courses on ‘white privilege’ and critical race theory at federal agencies.
In a Friday memorandum Russell Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget (OBM), noted that Trump “has directed me to ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American propaganda training sessions.”
“Accordingly, to that end, the Office of Management and Budget will shortly issue more detailed guidance on implementing the President’s directive,” he noted further, specifying some of the curricula that were being banned.
“In the meantime, all agencies are directed to begin to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on ‘critical race theory,’ ‘white privilege,’ or any training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil,” the memo said.
“In addition, all agencies should begin to identify all available avenues within the law to cancel any such contracts and/or to divert Federal dollars away from these un-American propaganda training sessions,” it added.
The president’s directive comes following a report last month that documents leaked from a three-day “reeducation camp” held by one of the country’s nuclear weapons facilities, Sandia National Laboratories, included training materials from the “race-segregated, taxpayer-funded session.”
Screenshots of the leaked documents were shared by filmmaker and policy researcher Christopher Rufo for a course entitled, “White Men’s Caucus on Eliminating Racism, Sexism, and Homophobia in Organizations.”
BizPac Review noted further:
Some of the words seen in the photo included “KKK,” “Aryan Nation,” “privileged,” and “mass killings.” Other notable words, including “MAGA hat,” referring to President Trump’s campaign slogan as well as “patriotic,” “hard worker” and even “football” were also listed as phrases associated with white male culture.
“The trainers insist that white males must ‘work hard to understand’ their ‘white privilege,’ ‘male privilege,’ and ‘heterosexual privilege.’ They claim that white men benefit from positive stereotypes that ‘far outweigh the Tim McVeighs and Ted Kaczynskis of white maleness,’” Rufo, a Research Fellow at Discovery Institute, noted.
In a subsequent interview with Fox News last week, Rufo called on the president to “immediately issue” an order to eliminate the propaganda which is being “weaponized” against American citizens.

“It’s absolutely astonishing how critical race theory has pervaded every institution in the federal government,” Rufo told host Tucker Carlson, regarding the ideology which teaches that the U.S. is inherently racist.
“What I have discovered is that critical race theory has become, in essence, the default ideology of the federal bureaucracy and is now being weaponized against the American people,” he added, noting that he has been documenting the pervasiveness of the propaganda throughout the federal bureaucracy for the past six months.
That includes the country’s premier law enforcement agency.
“Critical race theory has actually now infiltrated our criminal justice system,” noting that the FBI is now “holding weekly seminars on intersectionality, which is “a hard-Left academic theory that reduces people to a network of racial, gender and sexual orientation identities, that intersect in complex ways and determine whether you are an oppressor or oppressed.”

Rufo told Carlson “conservatives need to wake up,” as he warned that the propaganda serves as an “existential threat to the United States and that bureaucracy, even under the Trump Administration, is now being weaponized against core traditional American values.”
