It appears that not every government official in California is a left-wing loon.

Take Sacramento District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert, who appeared on Fox News this Wednesday to tell fill-in host Raymond Arroyo of Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” some truths about the Antifa terrorists terrorizing her city.

She knows all about these terrorists because last Thursday they targeted the Sacramento District Attorney’s Office as they were busy vandalizing the city in anger over the non-fatal shooting of suspected sexual abuser Jacob Blake.

According to Schubert, the notion from Democrat politicians and their doting media allies that the perpetrators of such acts are “peaceful protesters” is bunk. They are in fact full-fledged radicals who are determined to undermine and destroy America.

“They targeted government buildings — the DA’s Office which happens to be the institution of law and order, as well as the Sheriff’s Department, which also obviously is an institution of public safety — so their tactics are designed to destroy this country and take down capitalism. That’s the end game for these folks,” she said.

This is true of both Antifa and the wider Black Lives Matter movement.

Schubert added that she believes the attack last Thursday had been planned.

“I think there’s no question that there was a planned attack on our office. And now that we have more intelligence, we understand that it was much of it was led by Antifa … which you know is an organization that their whole end game is the destruction of democracy, and they’re going to do that by violence and intimidation and coercion,” Schubert explained.

In a statement published last Friday, a day after the riots, Schubert blasted Antifa as domestic terrorists.

“The Sacramento District Attorney’s Office was targeted last night by a domestic terrorist and anarchist organization — Sacramento Antifa. This attack was planned. These anarchists have waged attacks across this country, in major urban cities, including Portland, Seattle and Denver. Their tactics are rooted in organized violence and terror,” she reportedly said.

You’ll notice that she sounds virtually nothing like regular California leaders, the vast majority of whom are so far-left they’re practically part of the fringe.

Schubert’s tough sentiment was shared by Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones.

There seems to be a lack of courage to call it what it is. It is not a protest. It is an attempted insurrection. This is not a protest or demonstration. It is not a call for justice. And it transcends either political party,” he said.

These people are anarchists, antifa and others, that have no platform, no end goal, and no core beliefs other than to create chaos and undermine many of our social institutions, including police.”

This attitude bodes exceptionally well for Sacramento’s constituents.

Concluding her remarks on Fox News, Schubert said point-blank that, unlike her peers in left-wing cities such as Portland, Oregon, she intends to crack down on the baddies.

“If anybody knows our office and our law enforcement partners, we’re going to do everything we can [to bring them to justice,]” she said.

“The night that these folks tried to destroy our building and set it on fire, we had the police department out collecting evidence, and anybody that understands our abilities [knows] we’re going to do everything we can. If you left your DNA behind, we’re going to find it, we’re going to figure out who you are, we’re not going to be terrorized.”
