Thanks to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s stubborn but classic refusal to take responsibility for her own stunning, abject hypocrisy, one struggling American business owner is now facing death threats, not that the sanctimonious House speaker gives a damn.
That business owner, Erica Kious of the Bay Area hair salon named eSalon, has been quietly operating her salon in violation of California’s draconian lockdown regulations that Pelosi has repeatedly expressed support for.
Speaking on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” late Wednesday, Kious explained that she’d had no other option: “For the past six months, I mean, we’re pretty much done. I mean, we’ve lost at least 60 percent of our clients. I’ve lost the majority of my staff. So you know, six months is a long time to be closed down.”
But Pelosi, on the other hand, had had the option to abide by the state’s lockdown decree, given that her need to have nice hair doesn’t come even close to being as important as Kious’s need to earn a living and survive.
However, the House speaker instead chose to also violate the state’s rules by meeting with one of Kious’s stylists this Monday — and doing so without a mask.
While millions of Americans are out of work—Nancy Pelosi is getting her hair done in a shut-down San Francisco salon that her party forced to stay closed for everyone else
This is liberal privilege at its worst.

The surveillance footage from eSalon seen above went viral after Kious shared it with Fox News out of anger.
“She’s been coming in for quite a while, and just to see her come in and especially not wearing the mask, that’s what really got to me,” she told Fox News host Tucker Carlson during her appearance on the network Wednesday.
“But you know, this isn’t even political. I mean, she’s been coming in there — it’s the fact that she actually came in and didn’t have a mask on, and I just thought about, you know, my staff and people not being able to work and make money and provide for their families, and if she’s in there comfortably without a mask and feeling safe, then why are we shut down? Why am I not able to have clients come in?”
It’s a fair question, no?
Listen to the discussion below:
Not only did the House speaker willingly show up for an appointment at eSalon despite knowing that the salon wasn’t supposed to be open, but she wore no mask for at least part, if not the entire appointment. That too was a violation of the state’s rules.
When the surveillance footage from eSalon went viral, it triggered two distinct strains of outrage.
On one hand, people who recognize that politicians such as Pelosi aren’t above the American people expressed outrage over her classic hypocrisy. But on the other hand, people who apparently believe that politicians such as Pelosi are elites who deserve to be immune to responsibility expressed outrage at her being called out.
Among the latter was Pelosi herself, who deceitfully accused Kious of perpetrating a “setup” against her and demanded an apology for being outed as a hypocrite. Kious disputed this conspiracy theory Wednesday.
“She had called the stylist and or her assistant did, and made the appointment, so yes the appointment was already booked, so there’s no way I could have set that up. And I’ve had a camera system in there for five years. I mean, I didn’t go in there and turn cameras on as soon as she walked in to set her up. So that’s absolutely false,” she explained.
Nevertheless, Pelosi’s conspiracy theory was enough to spur her army of unhinged, hateful Democrats into action.
“The hard part of all this is that I have been in that community for 12 years, and since this happened, I have received nothing but hate text messages, death threats,” Kious said.
“They are going to burn my hair salon down. My yelp page is just unbelievable with bad reviews. It’s just sad that my community is pulling this when they’re saying that I threw her under the bus when I didn’t. So that’s hurtful, but I think, yeah, I think I’m pretty much done there.”
The unbridled, unhinged rage can also be seen on Twitter, where her account has faced 24/7 hatred from the left ever since Pelosi accused her of being the bad guy.
Here’s just a sampling of that left-wing hate (*Language warning):
Erica, you are a dishonest scumbag.
What attracts you to sell out America to serve a fascist con? Is it the racism you like? My money is on the racism.

Yeah, you need to fuck off out of our city, Trump Humper

Absolutely. She could have told the hair stylist who rents the space that she couldn’t do this.
And anyway, how is she renting space to hair stylists in her salon if appointments are not permitted inside the salon?
I honestly hope your business DIES, @esalonsf

Like Pelosi, they don’t appear to give a damn about how much Kious and her stylists have suffered amid the coronavirus lockdowns. They only care that their precious leader — all hail the queen! — was exposed as a hypocrite AGAIN.
