Dem operative warns ‘red mirage’ lead for Trump on Election Night; real Biden win won’t show for days

Would it surprise anyone that a Democrat operative is predicting that Joe Biden will win the presidency after the mail-in ballots get counted?

President Trump, who appears to be surging in the polls, will be in the lead on Election Night, but that’s just a “red mirage,” according to Josh Mendelsohn, the CEO of a Michael Bloomberg-founded data analytics firm called Hawkfish. By the following Sunday when mail-ins get counted, Biden will be in the driver’s seat, however, Mendelsohn’s modeling supposedly indicates.

In an interview with Axios on HBO embedded belowMendelsohn claimed that “The reason we talk about a red mirage is, in fact, because we believe that on Election Night, we are going to see Donald Trump in a stronger position than the reality actually is. We are sounding the alarm and saying that this is a very real possibility, that the data is going to show on Election Night an incredible victory for Donald Trump. That is likely to be what we see.

“When every legitimate vote is tallied, and we get to that final day, which will be Sunday after Election Day, it will, in fact, show that what happened on Election Night is exactly that — a mirage.”

Those voting by mail are disproportionately Biden supporters and more Democrats are apparently voting by mail than ever before, he added.

You may recall that a related duplicitous process called ballot harvesting culminated in Democrats somewhat miraculously capturing a number of Republican-leaning California U.S. House seats in 2018 even though the GOP was leading in them on Election Night.

Democrats have used COVID-19 as pretext to push for universal voting by mail, even though they seem wholly unconcerned about social distancing during “mostly peaceful” protests. If mail-in voting tended to favor Republicans, liberals would be fighting against it tooth and nail.

A recent mail-in-ballot experiment by CBS This Morning demonstrated how flawed the process turned out to be, with three percent (which is a huge number in a close election) never showing up.

Others have pointed out that, for example, with no postmarks on government-provided postage-paid return envelopes, it will be difficult if not impossible to determine if certain ballots were mailed on time or after the required legal deadline. This is also a possibility of chicanery between point A and point B on either ends.

Although Mendelsohn, the employee of failed presidential candidate Bloomberg, claimed that “facts matter,” vote by mail could be setting the stage for legal contest, plus civil unrest, that would make Bush v. Gore look like just fun and games.

In general, a Democrat makes a reference to facts, or science, your BS detector should go on alert.

Citing the real-world fraud that has occurred in various locales across the country, President Trump and the GOP have repeatedly warned about the shady process that accompanies universal mail-in-voting in which ballots get handed out like Halloween candy to everyone on notoriously out-of-date voter rolls and without any chain-of-custody protections. The Republican Party has gone to court to try to stop the dubious practices. Trump does not object to absentee voting, in which a voter specifically requests a ballot.

Justifying the president’s concerns, a longtime Democrat activist detailed for the New York Post all the techniques that he has orchestrated to commit voter fraud including creating phony ballots, opening sealed envelopes and replacing a legitimate vote with a counterfeit one, convincing postal workers to trash ballots in GOP strongholds, and “helping” nursing home residents fill out ballots. The fallback position is to impersonate inactive voters in states that don’t require a government-issued photo ID to vote.
