Clash at Stone Mountain turns bloody; ‘some of the most intense street violence between left and right’

When an armed, all-black militia descended into Stone Mountain in July and harassed and threatened white motorists, the media barely batted their eyes.

Yet the moment a coalition of conservative militias in Georgia announced that they’d be descending into Stone Mountain on Aug. 15th for a counter-rally, the media promptly rushed to report the rally and smear it as a “white supremacist” event.

“Stone Mountain Park announced that it will be closed Saturday as police prepare for a possible clash between protesters and a white supremacist group,” Atlanta station WSB reported.

“A group called ‘Defending Stone Mountain’ announced they plan to march to Stone Mountain Park with other groups. They want participants to show up with their Confederate and American flags.”

The so-called “protesters” were in fact Antifa and Black Lives Matter extremists, both of whom have been defended endlessly by the media despite their history of instigating fights by stealing property, attacking people and pouring urine on them.

Remember, to the media these Antifa and BLM extremists are the good guys …

As for Defending Stone Mountain, it appears to be a group focused on protecting and defending Stone Mountain’s historic Civil War monument that left-wing extremists have been seeking to have toppled.

Also present at the rally were members of a conservative, anti-statist, pro-gun militia known as the Three Percenters. The Three Percenters have a history of showing up to rallies to protect the First Amendment rights of the protesters, regardless of political affiliation, and also help the authorities deal with troublemakers.

Just like Defending Stone Mountain, the Three Percenters were also smeared by the media, whereas the Antifa and BLM extremists who instigated fights with them and with the police (see the footage below) were portrayed as the good guys. (** Language warning)

Stunningly, the rally eventually concluded with no arrests …

“Minor altercations did occur within the course of the event, however, it was the position of the Stone Mountain Police not to escalate or to engage until the situation needed to be controlled by such force, and until there was sufficient law enforcement presence at the scene to adequately and effectively engage,” the city reportedly said in a statement.

It’s not clear if the authorities would have reacted similarly had an Antifa and BLM rally been invaded and hijacked by extremists on the right.
