A rally against left-wing extremism and terrorism erupted into chaos Sunday after left-wing extremists affiliated Black Lives Matter and Antifa crashed it.

The rally in Kalamazoo, Michigan was organized by the Proud Boys, a pro-free-speech, pro-liberty, multiracial conservative fraternity that’s frequently smeared by the mainstream media as a “white nationalist” organization or “hate group.”

However, the group’s led by Enrique Tarrio, a minority who, as he’s explained in past interviews, is the son of Cuban immigrants who’d fled deceased Cuban dictator Fidel Castro’s Marxist-Leninist regime decades ago.

After word emerged last month that the Proud Boys were planning an “Americans Against Antifa” rally in Kalamazoo on Aug. 15th, extremists with Antifa began organizing their own “counter-protests” (or riots, rather) on social media:

Note how the account that posted the tweet above described the anti-extremism rally as a “pro-fascism rally.” According to Attorney Bill Barr, the actual fascists (and “Bolsheviks“) are the extremists affiliated with the Antifa movement itself.

And the proof can easily be seen in how Antifa and reportedly BLM affiliates behaved when the Proud Boys tried to rally peacefully on Saturday.

Watch (*Graphic content):

At one point during the rally, members of the Proud Boys were forced to deploy pepper spray on the violent extremists to keep them at bay.

Watch:

The police eventually arrived and helped to restore order.

“Some fist fights occurred before police arrived and ordered the crowds to leave. … Kalamazoo City Police gave an order to clear the area and began making multiple arrests of people who refused to leave. Police also used chemical irritants to move counter-protesters out of the area,” The Detroit News reported.

Like virtually every other news organization in the country, The Detroit News chose to use claims from the discredited far-left propaganda group known as the Southern Poverty Law Center to smear the Proud Boys as a “hate group.”

Even Twitter joined the bandwagon:

The headline above is a complete lie. The so-called “white nationalists” were members of a diverse conservative group, and the so-called “counter-protests” were far-left extremists affiliated with Antifa and BLM.

The lies did little to endear the media to those who appreciate and value the truth. Critics also didn’t appreciate the suggestion that the Proud Boys had been the instigators.
