A video montage tweeted by actor James Woods on Monday features then-Sen. Joe Biden bragging that he was tops in his law school class followed by clips of subsequent media reports debunking his claims.

In the first clip, Biden is heard variously claiming during what appears to be a press conference that he attended law school “on a full academic scholarship,” that he was the only one in law school to have a full ride, and wound up in the top half of his class.

“I was the outstanding student in the political science department at the end of my year,” Biden continued.

“I graduated with three degrees from undergraduate school and 165 credits, only needed 123 credits,” he continued.

Subsequent clips feature news reports noted that Biden went on to admit that none of those claims were correct.

In fact, Biden was never named “outstanding student” in his political science course, he did not earn three degrees, and that he attended law school on “a half-scholarship.”

What’s more, the future vice president graduated near the bottom of his class with a single degree, ranking 76th in a class of eight-five at the University of Syracuse Law School.

“I mean, this guy comes off this whole thing as a flyweight,” one pundit says in one of the clips.

Twitter users responded to Biden’s ‘gaffes’ and the fact that the media reported them back in the day.

Indeed, Biden’s entire political career has been plagued with misstatements, acts of plagiarism, and false claims.

During the Delaware Democrat’s first presidential run in 1988, the campaign collapsed in only three months after it was discovered that he stole parts of a speech from a British lawmaker.

Spliced video surfaced featuring Biden speaking at an Iowa State Fair campaign event in which he repeated portions of a prior speech given by U.K. Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock. Biden did not attribute any part of his speech to Kinnock. Additional instances of plagiarism would wind up dooming Biden’s campaign, along with the Newsweek exposure of C-SPAN footage featuring clips of Biden lying about his law school credentials that Woods tweeted.

“Biden’s mouth is both his greatest asset and his greatest liability,” Laurence I. Barrett, a former TIME national political correspondent who covered Biden’s brief campaign, would recount that year.

It wasn’t the first time that Biden ‘borrowed’ someone else’s material.

During his first year in law school at the University of Delaware, Biden got an “F” for a paper after professors found that he had lifted a substantial portion of it from another source, and without attribution.

“The record showed that in a meeting on Dec. 1, 1965, the law school faculty found that Biden had, ‘without quotation or citation,’ lifted five pages from a published law review article and used them in his 15-page paper for a legal-methods course,” the Washington Post reported in 1987.

Biden was permitted to retake the course at the University of Syracuse and received an 80 percent on the course. He eventually admitted that he plagiarized his law school paper.

The future VP also ‘borrowed’ segments of his speeches from Robert Kennedy and other political leaders including President John F. Kennedy and Democratic Vice President Hubert Humphrey.

And most recently, Biden’s campaign was hit with allegations that he lifted much of his political platform from vanquished Democratic contender Sen. Bernie Sanders.

“Today, Joe Biden’s unity task force released recommendations for the DNC platform that crib straight from Bernie Sanders’ radical agenda. We found multiple instances of word-for-word copying from Bernie,” GOP rapid response director Steve Guest wrote on Twitter last month.

Also in July, President Donald Trump posted a montage of clips exposing Biden’s lies that was put together by NewsBusters.
