Dan Bongino says that Joe Biden’s mental condition is spiraling downward and allegedly more severe than outsiders are aware.

The former U.S. Secret Service agent and current pundit/internet impresario took to Twitter Sunday to say he wasn’t exaggerating about the condition of the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee, which is making life increasingly difficult for his handlers.

“Not a joke and not hyperbole – I’m hearing from people close to the situation that Biden’s cognitive decline is rapidly worsening and is becoming increasingly difficult to mask. The Democrats are going to have to make a decision soon.”

Biden, 77, is allegedly leading President Trump in the polls despite hardly ever leaving his Delaware basement. His history of making erratic statements, plus an inability to often finish a complete sentence, has become well known and a source of amusement.

Any family that has had to care for an elderly relative or another loved one with dementia or a related brain disorder, however, knows that the reality is anything but fun and games.

President Trump is only three years younger, but the difference between the two men in terms of energy level is stark. That may be why the Biden team may be trying to find a way to avoid fall debates between the two candidates.

Given Biden’s inability to actually run the country if elected, FNC’s Tucker Carlson has observed, Biden’s VP pick will be the most consequential in history because that person could become president sooner rather than later. That person could also likely function as the de facto president because of Biden’s limitations.

Predictions have persisted all along that the Democrat National Committee and its delegates would switch candidates around the time of the convention which is scheduled for August 17-20 in Milwaukee.

A video clip shared late last month by James Woods and others of Biden being led around by a campaign aide didn’t put any rumors to rest.

If Bongino’s inside story is accurate, Democrat power-brokers have a delicate decision ahead.

Twitter reacted to Bongino’s assessment of Biden’s health, which included politics-aside expressions of sympathy, while others advanced provocative theories about a replacement.
