Correction: Fox News is owned by Fox Corp not News Corp. Fox Corp holds the TV assets, News Corp holds newspapers. A previous headline was unclear.
James Murdoch, the left-wing son of media mogul and Fox News co-founder Rubert Murdoch, has reportedly given up “making change from the inside” and resigned from his post on the board of News Corp, which is the sister company of FNC’s parent company, Fox Corp.
News Corp is the parent company of The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post. All three outlets, including Fox, are among an extremely small assortment of news entities whose coverage isn’t littered with rampant left-wing propaganda.
“I hereby tender my resignation as a member of the Board of Directors of News Corporations (the ‘Company’), effective as of the date hereof. My resignation is due to disagreements over certain editorial content published by the Company’s news outlets and certain other strategic decisions,” James wrote in a resignation letter Friday.

His resignation provoked cheers of joy from some conservatives.
Great news. Good riddance James Murdoch. Now for Rupert to find a centrist leader than this leftie idiot. Hopefully Fox News will continue to the only right-leaning media than all those Dem propaganda machines in FakeNMedia like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NY Times etc.

James Murdoch’s wife is a rabid leftist. She’s a lunatic.

“James Murdoch’s resignation comes 6 months after issuing a rebuke of his family’s media empire & its promotion of climate-change skeptics during Australia’s bushfire crisis”

Good. One less leftist in media is a great thing, especially at Fox News. Good riddance to James Murdoch, college dropout, leftist, Biden supporter. Nuff said. #Trump2020

Bye bye James Murdoch! Maybe Fox News will stop imitating CNN. James and wife endorsed and donated to Joe Biden

James had long complained about Fox News’ non-left-wing reporting.
“There are views I really disagree with on Fox,” he bluntly said during an interview with The New Yorker last September.
While speaking at Vanity Fair’s New Establishment summit a month later in October, he praised then-Democrat presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg for his “composure, character, thoughtfulness, courage to handle some of the hardest challenges that we have,” and admitted that he’d personally stopped watching Fox News.
He also expressed his disappointment at Shepard Smith’s then-announced resignation from FNC.

Months later in January of this year, he and his left-wing activist wife, Kathryn, attacked FNC for offering honest, two-sided coverage of the climate change issue.
“Kathryn and James’ views on climate are well established and their frustration with some of the News Corp and Fox coverage of the topic is also well known,” a spokesperson for the duo said at the time to The Daily Beast.
Their frustration was aimed specifically at Fox’s coverage of the wildfires in Australia. Unlike with the echo-chamber leftist media, FNC was willing to challenge the narrative that climate change was solely to blame and examine evidence suggesting bad policies prohibiting prescribed burns were also at fault.
“One longtime News Corp executive, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation, described the comments by James, who continues to sit on the board of News Corporation, and Kathryn as an intentional attack on Lachlan and Rupert,” The Daily Beast reported at the time.
Lachlan is James’ brother.
“They are pissing inside the tent and that’s unusual. It’s evidence of how high tensions are within the family over climate change,” the unnamed executive said.
According to CNN media reporter Brian Stelter, who spoke with several News Corp insiders while writing his book “HOAX,” James had been interested in “making change from the inside.”
Thus, his resignation “means that James gave up on that” dream, Stelter tweeted Friday:
James’ resignation comes days after a report emerged that he and his wife had donated a joint $1.23 million to the so-called Biden Victory Fund in June.
MURDOCH $$$ FOR BIDEN:
RUPERT MURDOCH’s son, JAMES MURDOCH, & James’s wife KATHRYN MURDOCH donated $615k each to @JoeBiden‘s joint fundraising committee BIDEN VICTORY on 6/30.
Other big $ came from:

In many ways, James is the exact opposite of his brother Lachlan, in that whereas he’s been in the business of “making change” at FNC, his older brother has been in the business of defending it from haters.
For instance, after outspoken Fox News host Tucker Carlson came under fire for “offensive” remarks made in late 2018 about illegal immigrants and the indisputable problems they invariably wreak, Lachlan came to his defense.
“When Tucker Carlson came under fire for his increasingly pointed attacks on immigration … he received personal text messages of support from Lachlan, according to two people familiar with the texts,” The New York Times reported in April of 2019.
He was also responsible for hiring former Trump administration communications director Hope Hicks and for launching Fox Nation.
Meanwhile, according to the Times, James has been responsible for working with his wife “to try to neutralize that weapon.”
And by “that weapon,” the Times meant Fox News.
