Left-wing agitators also vandalized and torched small businesses and attacked local residents and news crews.

The brouhaha erupted yesterday afternoon after left-wing protesters gathered at Seattle’s Capitol Hill zone.
During their march, Antifa and Black Lives Matter agitators trespassed on a municipal construction site for a juvenile detention facility and set fire to at least five trailers.
Harrowing Twitter videos captured the arson on taxpayer-funded construction sites.
Leftists set other fires in the area, including one inside the East Police Precinct, where rioters breached a security fence and vandalized the building.
Rioters also hurled bottles and balloons filled with liquid at police officers.
While the mainstream media push the false narrative that the police were being overly aggressive, the SPD issued multiple dispersal orders — which the rioters ignored as they destroyed property and terrorized local residents.
Among the businesses destroyed in the riots was a local Starbucks, which was vandalized and had its windows broken.

Police were able to use pepper spray and blast balls after a federal judge temporarily blocked Seattle’s new law banning police from using crowd-control tools to curb violent mobs.
Richard Grenell is the former acting Director of National Intelligence. He was disgusted that Jay Inslee — the Democrat governor of Washington State — pandered for votes while Seattle burned.
“Seattle is in turmoil and the Governor is focused on his election in November,” Grenell tweeted. “Throw him out of office!”

As BizPac Review reported, the nonstop race riots in Democrat-run cities are based on the lie that white police officers are hunting down black men.
Wall Street Journal reporter Jason Reilly — who’s black — said the media promote the false narrative that there are scores of white cops killing black men because any time this happens, the press obsessively hypes it around-the-clock.
Civil-rights icon Bob Woodson agrees. Woodson says the Left has ignited a race war by stoking resentment among poor blacks, who are being manipulated as part of a shameless power grab.
“When low-income blacks wake up and realize that they are being bamboozled and hustled and scammed by people like [Chicago Mayor] Lori Lightfoot and other [Democrats], they are going to realize that they must address the enemy within,” Woodson said.

Woodson pointed out that Democrats have run left-wing cities for the past 60 years, yet they’re blaming the police and white people for their own failures.
“What they are doing is falsely claiming that the failures of the last 60 years — most urban centers all over the country have been run by liberal Democrats — [is not their fault],” Woodson said. “Now the white Left is coming in and exploiting the disparity and using it to really decimate the country. The collateral damage are the lives of poor blacks in these cities because what the Left is doing is vilifying the police as agents of white supremacy. And the more they are vilified, the less aggressive they are about enforcing laws, and the more the [black-on-black] murder rate rises.”
Bob Woodson said we can restore peace if blacks “stop looking externally” for the solutions to their problems and “stop these [Democrat] hustlers from exploiting them.”
