The Left’s “Boycott Goya” campaign to bully and silence Goya Food CEO Robert Unanue for praising President Trump backfired in epic fashion after scores of Trump supporters launched their own counter-boycott called “Goya Buy-cott.”
The “Buy-cott” campaign inspired countless Trump supporters to go to their local stores and buy up Goya olives, seasonings, beans, and frozen foods like it’s Christmas.
In fact, Goya couldn’t have asked for better marketing if it had paid millions of dollars in prime-time TV and newspaper ads.
President Trump kicked things off by tweeting, “I love Goya Foods!”

Philanthropist Foster Friess tweeted: “Over the past few days, there has been an effort to Boycott Goya, so let’s turn this into something good:
- BUY Goya Products.
- DONATE them to Homeless Shelters, Food banks, Senior Homes
- POST Pictures and encourage others to do the same!

BizPac Review got in on the action, with CEO Jack Furnari stocking up on Goya Foods like he’s feeding an army.
Furnari tweeted: “My wife went to the grocery store today. We’ll use about half of the Goya products she bought, and the rest we will donate to charity. We’re going to do this every week.”

Senator Marco Rubio shared an “I Love Goya” image and tweeted: “Most of these people fronting about a #GoyaBoycott don’t use Goya Foods anyways.”

The Left’s lame Goya boycott has been better than any expensive ad campaign the company could have paid for.
Cuban-American UFC champion Jorge Masvidal tweeted: “I’m a Latino son of immigrants that was blessed enough to eat Goya Foods in good times and in the bad times.”
Don’t listen to the #woke mob #Goya beans are the best beans with some white rice. I’m a Latino son of immigrants that was blessed enough to eat #goyafoods in good times and in the bad times #supernecessary

Trump supporter Casey Harper said it’s time for conservatives to rise up and squelch the hateful left’s cancel culture.
Harper said: “After hearing about the GOYA boycott, I went to the store and spent $225.29 on GOYA products. The liberal mob is coming for anyone who disagrees. Cancel culture at its worst. We need to have our voice heard!”

On July 11, Harper launched a GoFundMe campaign to “Buy GOYA, Support Trump and Feed the Hungry.”
The GoFundMe account raised over $81,000 in two days. All of it will be used to buy Goya Foods.
Donated funds will be used to buy GOYA products that will be given to food pantries in the Washington, DC area.
What if we rise up to say no to cancel culture AND feed the hungry at the same time?https://t.co/1u7SAiC2oS

Goya Food CEO Robert Unanue wisely refused to bend the knee and apologize to the outrage mob, saying he has the right to voice his opinions.
Unanue said when he visited and praised former president Barack Obama in 2012, conservatives did not launch boycotts or bully and harass him.
But now that he praised a Republican president — Donald Trump — unhinged leftists got triggered.
“It’s suppression of speech,” Unanue said. “In 2012, I was called by Michelle Obama. They called on us as the most recognized Hispanic brand in the United States and I went [to the Obama White House]. So you are allowed to praise one president, but you are not allowed [to praise a Republican].”
Unanue underscored: “So I’m not apologizing [for praising Trump]. I didn’t say that to the Obamas and I didn’t say that to President Trump.”
The brouhaha erupted on July 9, when Robert Unanue praised President Trump’s leadership in the White House Rose Garden.
Unanue made the remarks after President Trump signed an executive order to bolster Hispanics’ access to economic and educational opportunities.
“We are all truly blessed to have a leader like President Trump who is a builder,” Unanue said. “That’s what my grandfather did. He came to this country to build, to grow, to prosper.”
