A shopper accosted in a Walmart store became an internet hit when a video of his encounter with women berating him for not wearing a mask went viral.
The man appeared to be shopping in a Walmart store when the unofficial aisle monitor confronted him because he allegedly did not follow the directional arrows on the ground. The apparent crime of not obeying the social distancing measure was compounded by his lack of a face mask, as the “Karen” who filmed the incident informed him.

“Why don’t you get a life?” the man asked the woman behind the camera. “Going around taking pictures of people?”
“Yes, because of what you’re doing. Can you not follow the lines on the floor?” she exclaimed.
“I feel so sorry for you,” the man calmly replied. “Keep your mouth running.”
She continued to berate him, informing him that the government requires he wear a face mask, as he responded about how politicized the coronavirus and the guidelines have become.
“Now you have accosted me in this store. It’s not a law that I’ve got to wear a mask, and if you’re going to keep this up, maybe we’ll get the police department in here,” he said while she accused him of accosting her by not wearing a protective face covering.
“Why don’t you call 911 then?” she shot back at him.
Meanwhile, behind the man, another woman had come up in the aisle and begun recording the scene on her cell phone.
“Oh God, another one!” he exclaimed when he saw her brazenly holding her camera up to film him. “You people are like monkeys falling out of a tree!”
The first Karen informed him that he, in fact, was the monkey, even commenting about him “dragging his knuckles” before smugly asking if he had ever heard of “Darwinism” and evolution.
Somehow, the man remained calm — though he got angrier at their antics — as he attempted to go back to his shopping while trapped in the aisle on either side by the dueling, filming women.
“You’re unbelievable! Good luck with the virus! Your whole family tree is getting cut off at its roots!” the first woman yelled, while the man told the other woman he does not live his life on the computer and knows who his friends are.
“The way you people act, you’ve got no friends, because of the way you act,” he laughed, calling the woman a “smarta–.”
“I’d rather be a a smarta– than a dumb one like you!’ was her lame comeback.
The women likely found plenty of like-minded liberals on social media to cheer on their brave confrontation, but many Twitter users reacting to the video, which has over 2.5 million views, overwhelmingly lauded the man as a hero.
One claimed the man in the video became a local hero and the women ended up deleting their social media pages.
LOL this was at the WalMart in my hometown. He sorta become a local hero, while Karen and heh mom had to delete their FB acts after they posted this. Backfired on them

I absolutely love how calm this guy stayed while speaking his mind.
I owe you a beer sir.

Civility is gone on the mask wearing side. Those who refuse to wear masks are still clear headed and going about their business. This is a tinderbox. That guy was so on point! He’s awake and “evolved”. Those Karen’s have devolved away from freedom!

Someone gets within 6 feet of me yelling like a Karen with a camera in my face is getting blasted with Pepper spray.

The Karen’s are drawn to one another since they feel safer in groups, or “scolds” I think they’re called.

Wow these ladies have issues.
