Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may have achieved the status of billionaire but Sharon Osbourne doesn’t think this is the right time to take a bow.
The host of “The Talk” and wife of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne called out the “tone deaf” comment by West after he posted a congratulatory message to his wife for “officially becoming a billionaire.”

The 43-year-old rapper, who was deemed a billionaire by Forbes in April, took to social media to give a shout out to his wife, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reality star.
“I am so proud of my beautiful wife Kim Kardashian West for officially becoming a billionaire,” he wrote alongside a “still life” photo of plants and flowers. “You’ve weathered the craziest storms and now God is shining on you and our family. So blessed this is still life. So I made you this still life. We love you so much.”

Forbes reported that Kardashian West’s sale of her cosmetics line KKW Beauty to beauty giant Coty made her now worth about $900 million.
Regardless of the final figures for the couple, who have four children, Osbourne did not appreciate the timing of the message and called it out during a segment on “The Talk” on CBS last week.

“It isn’t the right time to show off your wealth but, hey, some people, that is what they do,” Osbourne said on the show, the Independent reported.
“I have never been keen on that anyway, whether there is a pandemic or not,” the 67-year-old host continued.
“I never believe in that. For me, I cringe when people do it,” she said. “There was a time in Hollywood when people didn’t talk about it. This is just gross.”
The criticism came ahead of West’s surprise announcement on Saturday that he is planning to run for president – this year.

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States 🇺🇸!” he tweeted, along with the hashtag #2020VISION.
West, who has openly spoken in support of President Trump, had previously announced his White House ambitions in 2015 when he announced he would be running in front of an MTV Video Music Awards audience.
Osbourne, who recently spoke in favor of renaming Orange County’s John Wayne Airport, has spoken out against the couple on other occasions.
“Both of you have been gifted from God, you have a brilliant lives, god bless you both,” she said in 2018, reacting to comments by Kardashian West about flying on a private 747 jet. “But there are millions and millions of people that don’t live your life that look up to you. Don’t shove it down people’s throats. It is obnoxious.”
Osbourne criticized Kardashian West back in 2017 after she posted racy photos of herself in the name of feminism.
“If Kim wants to show off her body, fine. But that’s not feminism, that’s being a h*e. And there’s nothing wrong with being a ho, but always remember what you are,” Osbourne told The Telegraph at the time.
Some Twitter users appeared to agree with Osbourne’s criticism of the couple and the timing of the message.
Bro. Timing.

Congrats on being a billionaire? That’s what matters? Especially right now? You are tone deaf and ridiculous.
