Kaepernick rejects July 4th as ‘celebration of white supremacy’ as Americans burn, stomp on flags in DC

Left-wing zealots, including disgraced former NFL star Colin Kaepernick, disrupted 4th of July festivities this year by predictably disrespecting the American flag and also accusing the holiday of being a “celebration of white supremacy.”

The irony of their allegations was remarkably stunning …

In Washington, D.C., far-left zealots congregated on Black Lives Matter Plaza —  a two-block-long section of downtown D.C. that’s dedicated solely to black people (black supremacy, anyone?) — and then danced on the flag because of “white supremacy.”

Watch (*Language warning):

These zealots later burnt the flag while ironically chanting, “One, two, three, four, slavery, genocide and war, five, six, seven, eight, America was never great.”

It seemed to be lost on them that America is in reality so great that it allows deranged, potentially mentally disturbed individuals to behave like this:

To understand the mentality behind this behavior, one need only look to Kaepernick’s Twitter feed, which he used Saturday to disparage the country responsible for first turning into him an NFL star worth millions and then later into some sort of cultural icon worth even more millions.

“Black ppl have been dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized + terrorized by America for centuries, & are expected to join your commemoration of ‘independence’, while you enslaved our ancestors. We reject your celebration of white supremacy & look forward to liberation for all,” he tweeted Saturday afternoon.

Look:

The tweet provoked annoyance and exasperation, in part because of the suspicion that there were political motivations behind it. After all, prior to President Donald Trump stepping into office, Kaepernick had seemingly been a big fan of July 4th.

Case in point:

In 2013, he even attended a July 4th party. His appearance at the party drew media attention because of the hat he’d chosen to wear to it.

“Last night, James McKinney posted a picture of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick showing up to a 4th of July party shirtless. But, that was not the point of the picture. It’s the hat on his head that caused a double-take. It’s not a 49ers hat…it’s a Miami Dolphins hat,” SB Nation reported on July 5th, 2013.

But then suddenly in 2017, everything changed:

To be fair, 2016 was the year Kaepernick began his national anthem protests. But at the time he swore he wasn’t meaning to demean the flag but simply draw attention to the alleged epidemic of black criminal suspects being unjustifiably killed by the police.

But four years later, it’s now clear to a growing number of Americans that he’d been lying — that his aims have always involved tearing down the country itself through the promotion of rage-based “revenge and division.”

Look:

His aims are now shared by a majority of the Democrat Party.
