An MSNBC “reporter” and a D.C. delegate were nearly assaulted Tuesday while hanging out in Washington, D.C.’s so-called Black Lives Matter Plaza.

Video footage from the incident showed MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell and D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton standing idly as a deranged man wearing nothing but pink lingerie was being chased by what appeared to be a security guard.

The man ran up to both women and briefly flung his hands at them before the security guard caught up to him and pulled him away.

Watch:

Norton, a Democrat, could be heard immediately afterward asking, “Where’s the police when you need them?”

Video footage from the incident quickly went viral among conservatives fascinated by the perceived ironies and hypocrisies present in it.

Both MSNBC “reporters” and Democrat Party congressmen and congresswomen have been fervently defensive of “peaceful protesters” — even the ones who’ve ravaged whole cities — while simultaneously antagonistic toward not only the police but anyone who’s had the temerity to stand up to the left’s beloved looters and rioters.

“Ohhhhh soooooo @mitchellreports had private security? Were they armed? Does every business or individual targeted by protesters have the right to use private security to protect their person and property? Should we allow them to defend themselves?” Andrew Wilkow of BlazeTV tweeted.

“Reporters” and congressional Democrats have also been defensive of the #DefundThePolice movement.

“‘Where are the police when you need them?’ She says while standing on a street that literally says ‘DEFUND THE POLICE,'” Abigail Marone, a member of President Donald Trump’s “Rapid Response” team noted.

The incident reportedly occurred in the same area where Black Lives Matter extremists had tried to set up an anonymous zone earlier this week.

Unlike the authorities in Seattle, who allowed an autonomous zone to be formed and then grow into a veritable murder zone, the authorities in D.C. took quick action.

“D.C. police and public officials have cleared out an encampment that became the epicenter of confrontations between protesters and law enforcement Monday night in the Black Lives Matter Plaza area,” local station WTTG reported Tuesday.

“Officials explained on Tuesday morning that the Department of Public Works and the Department of Health had visited the encampment on Monday and determined that it was an unsafe environment. When they told the protesters that they must move the encampment and the protesters refused, police moved in to assist the officials.”

The only thing that remains unclear is the identity of the deranged man who tried to assault Mitchell and Norton.

The Casa Ruby LGBT Center, a D.C. non-profit that supporters members of the LGBT community, indicated in an Instagram post earlier this month that the man may be a homeless vagrant who’s using the BLM protests to make money.

“This person is not associated with Casa Ruby LGBT Community Center, she is not even a client, it has been brought up to our attention that she has solicited $$$$$$$$ THOUSANDS of dollars on our name,” the center wrote.

“The sad part is that she is making us look bad when she threatens and bullies people when they don’t give her money. As a Black & Brown Trans Led organization, we do not make our clients solicit money on the streets EVER.”

However, the man wound up firing back in a comment.

“So during George Floyd protests instead of using it to talk about black lives matter, the black trans lives that matter as well, and the overall police brutality and destructive militarization of the police in our society, you decide to use it to commit libel and slander against me, a sissygender transgender female who’s in DC without any permanent housing, and who’s been the victim of repeated assaults,” he wrote under the Instagram alias “SissyGender.”

“I’m a sissygender transgender female without permanent housing who seeks help on the street to support myself in exchange for giving out poems to the people of DC. I’m also dying of a CT scan hack with anal beads lost in my body for 1 1/2 years something I told you about and you actually hurt me and now I blame you for why I’m dying now. Better stop it Ruby! You’ve been put on notice.”

Whatever he is, he’s certainly no conservative, though he could very well be an MSNBC viewer with an attitude and mindset like that …
