The liberal media took a break from fomenting a racially divisive narrative of police brutality not supported by recent statistics to express horror over President Donald Trump sharing a video of a black man beating a white man.
Responding to a tweet from conservative Matt Walsh that featured a large black man pummeling a Macy’s store clerk, the president remarked: “Looks what’s going on here. Where are the protesters? Was this man arrested?”

“This guy brutally assaulted a Macy’s employee because of his race and then slandered him by claiming he said the n-word, which was a lie,” Walsh tweeted. “This is a horrific hate crime and if the races were reversed it would be the only thing we talk about for days.”
The allegation that the smaller, clearly defenseless man used the n-word was shared along with the video online, to justify the brutality seen in the video.
In defense of Walsh’s assertion that this is not true, The Detroit News reported that a Macy’s spokesperson said the attack “was unprovoked.”
“All the materials from the evening have been reviewed and it is clear the attack was unprovoked,” the retailer said in a statement.
The Flint Township Police identified two persons of interest involved in the video — one was recording the assault.
Damire Canell Palmer, 18, and Damarquay Jovan Palmer, 22, were the names that police released, according to the newspaper.
For what it’s worth, an online sweep shows that Palmer is apparently a registered sex offender, convicted of possessing sexually abusive material involving a child.

There have been a number of videos of black-on-white violence following the death of George Floyd and the subsequent Black Lives Matter riots. Racial tensions in the U.S. are high, helped along by the media pushing an unsubstantiated narrative of racially-driven police brutality being rampant in America.
The trouble is with the videos are that many are presented without context and some of the videos prove to be dated from several years back.
Walsh penned a Daily Wire article noting that in the more recent attacks, hate crime charges are not being filed.
“This, unfortunately, is not an isolated incident,” Walsh wrote. “Recently there has been a slew of horrific physical attacks against white people. Last week, a group of African-American men attacked a white man in a gas station parking lot in Texas, punching him, knocking him to the ground, and then stomping on his head. In New York, a black man pushed a 92-year-old woman to the ground. She bashed her head against a fire hydrant as she fell. No hate crime charges have been filed.”
“And hate crime charges aren’t the only thing missing,” he added. “There has been little public attention to, or condemnation of, these attacks.”
The incidents he named are seen here:

A 92 year old woman was knocked to the ground in a random attack in Manhattan last week.
It occurred on Friday June 12 at 3.30pm on Third Avenue, near East 16th Steeet.

In the second video, the 31-year-old assailant was captured and had been arrested more than 100 times in his short life.
As for the liberal umbrage, here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
He’s inciting racial tensions.

Trump wants a race war, he’s literally begging for one.

You are such a pathetic racist! You just absolutely proved that to America. You don’t know either of these men. You don’t know what their history is. You obviously don’t know what the protests are about. Trump is a creepster lowlife!

Trump is seizing on and amplifying random, anomolous instances of interracial violence, needlessly inflaming racial tensions at a moment of polarization and social upheaval. This is abhorrent and irresponsible. His subordinates and children know this and should say so. https://t.co/p6g8h50jJX

The President of the United States is sharing videos of crimes committed by black people to push back on the notion that racism is a problem in our society
