NFL commissioner Roger Goodell tacitly endorsed affirmative action by browbeating National Football League teams to hire middling quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who started his career as a second-round draft pick.

Kaepernick, 32, has not played since 2016, when he destroyed his career with the San Francisco 49ers by dragging toxic politics onto the football field after disrespecting the national anthem.
Goodell recently caved to outrage mobs by expressing support for the anti-police, anti-white Black Lives Matter movement.
Now, he’s urging reluctant NFL teams to hire Kaepernick, who hasn’t played pro football for four years.
“If he wants to resume his career in the NFL, then it’s gonna take a team to make that decision,” Goodell told ESPN. “I welcome that, support a club making that decision and encourage them to do that.”
Roger continued: “If his efforts are not on the field but continuing to work in this [social justice] space, we welcome him to that table and to help us, guide us, help us make better decisions about the kinds of things that need to be done in the communities. We have invited him in before.”
By nagging NFL teams to hire Colin Kaepernick, Commissioner Roger Goodell implicitly endorsed affirmative action.
Why? Because Kaepernick is past his prime as an NFL quarterback. As an elite athlete, Colin is yesterday’s news, he’s day-old bread.
Kaepernick has struggled to get signed to another NFL contract after opting out of his six-year, $114 million contract with the San Francisco 49ers in March 2017.
Colin started to become political shortly after he began dating his girlfriend, Muslim radio host Nessa Diab.
Race-baiting grievance mongers blamed racism for Colin’s prolonged unemployment. It bears noting that the NFL has created countless black millionaires.

While NFL players are 70% black, its audience is 83% white. So pandering to an anti-white, anti-police movement is tone-deaf and suicidal for the NFL.
NFL analysts say Kaepernick was a dismal performer with the 49ers who would have been released based on poor performance had he not opted out.
In 2017, sports journalist Jason Whitlock — who’s black — said NFL teams did not want to hire Kaepernick because he’s a mediocre quarterback. His race had nothing to do with it.
“This is simply a case of a guy who’s not good enough,” Whitlock said. “His talents aren’t good enough to justify all the attention and noise and controversy. Tim Tebow [who’s white] ran into this exact same issue.”

Whitlock said a terrible trend he has seen is the invasion of leftist politics into the NFL and other sports that’s alienating viewers. Most people watch sports to get away from divisive politics.
“This invasion of progressive idealogy into the National Football League and sports…is starting to smell like a shakedown,” Whitlock said. “This false narrative, that Colin Kaepernick is out of the league because all the owners are racist, that he’s being blackballed.”
Whitlock continued: “This is like the Tawana Brawley of football — this false narrative that we have all these racists [in the NFL].”
Tawana Brawley gained notoriety in 1987 for falsely accusing four white men of gang-raping her. She was found in a trash bag with racial slurs scrawled on her body.
Tawana’s accusations angered many in the black community and ignited a race war led by race-baiting grifter Al Sharpton.
A grand jury later concluded there was no evidence to support Brawley’s claims. The falsely-accused white men then successfully sued Brawley and her lawyers for defamation. She has yet to pay up.
