English columnist Katie Hopkins leveled a blistering commentary on woke Hollywood celebrities for their insincere apologies for systemic racism.

Hopkins sparked praise and applause for her video message to Tinsel Town stars who created a somber video confessing the part they played in cultivating racism, giving them a brutal wake-up call on how many people just don’t care.

Hopkins reminded celebrities that their last embarrassing group project, a video of them singing “Imagine” amid the coronavirus pandemic back in March, sparked mockery.

“Trying to look at yourself in the camera and imagine that you were beautiful or that we gave a sh–, but we didn’t,” the social critic said in a new video shared with her one million Twitter followers on Friday.

“And now you’re back again with a hashtag #ITakeResponsibility,” she said.

“I take responsibility? You lot couldn’t take responsibility for ordering your own double chai soy latte in a recyclable cup,” she added. “You lot couldn’t take responsibility for walking your own ugly little pug. It doesn’t matter how big your stupid glasses are, how dark they are, or the fact that they’re too massive for your face.”

Hopkins called out actress Debra Messing who appeared in the video which also featured Julianne Moore, Kristen Bell, Sarah Paulson, Aaron Paul, Aly Raisman as well as Mark Duplass, Piper Perabo and Stanley Tucci.

“I take responsibility for every unchecked moment, for every time it was easier to ignore than to call it out for what it was,” the stars said in the black and white video that was sponsored by the NAACP.

“Every not so funny joke, every unfair stereotype, every blatant injustice no matter how big or small, every time I remained silent, every time I explained away police brutality or turned a blind eye,” they said in their overdramatic voices and expressions.

“You couldn’t even take responsibility for learning the lines that you pretended to give a sh– about,” Hopkins continued.

“You don’t take responsibility for crap. You read a script – badly – whilst thinking that you look pretty special. I’ve got a suggestion for you: Why don’t you take responsibility for your egos because I could tell you right now, that’s going to be a bloody big job,” Hopkins concluded.

See also retweeted a video from comedian Greta Lee Jackson who altered the “I Take Responsibility” clip.

“I take responsibility, for attention-seeking behavior, for performative activism, for thinking that other people give a sh– about my experience at a time like this,” celebrities in the modified video appeared to say.

Meanwhile, Hopkins’ message to the smug Hollywood stars got plenty of approval from twitter users.
