U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz slammed the far-left, anarchist agenda which he decried as creating a “Woketopia” that is currently inflicting vast physical, economic, and emotional damage on America.

The Florida Republican appeared on a “Hannity” panel with ex-law enforcement officer and pundit Dan Bongino and Pastor Darrell Scott, who participated in Wednesday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing on police brutality.

Said Gaetz last night on the FNC show about the breakdown of law and order that could get even worse if power-hungry Democrats get their way.

“Defund the police, abolish ICE, disarm Americans, and then surrender our cities to the Antifa mob: If this is the rulebook for the new Woketopia, count me out…Antifa has now designated Seattle as their capital; It’s going to be bad for the citizens there. What we need to do is focus on supporting the good police, isolating and removing the bad police, and I’m hopeful that we can actually work across party lines on this. This shouldn’t be partisan issue. We should work on it together.”

Unlike spineless politicians like Mitt Romney (among others) desperately seeking approval from his ideological foes, for example, Gaetz is one of the new generation of Republicans inspired by President Donald Trump who rhetorically fights back against the left and their media lapdogs.

Rep. Gaetz praised Pastor Scott and Bongino for their House testimony and described the hearing as a productive step toward reforms in policing.

Gaetz was referring to the six blocks in a Seattle neighborhood that have been completely commandeered by left-wing extremists with no cops in sight which they have renamed the so-called Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.

President Trump has called upon Democrat Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee — who spends a lot of time worrying about global warming — to regain control of the city from the anarchists, otherwise he will take action at the federal level.

When Sean Hannity pointed out that the Los Angeles teachers union illogically wants the school police to be disbanded, Gaetz responded that Florida did just the opposite after school shootings in Florida such as the horrific Parkland massacre.

“We worked with Republicans and Democrats to increase the number of school resource officers because we thought if a young person could have positive interactions with police, maybe they coached their basketball team or help them get a band-aid when they skin their knee, that that would actually build the type of community policing…and keep law enforcement and our students safe.”

During the broadcast, Sean Hannity called out the woke outrage mob for forcing the cancellation of the immensely popular TV program Live PD, which follows police officers and sheriff’s deputies on night patrol in real-time, as well as the syndicated show Cops. In particular, Live PD is credited with increasing police transparency, police-community relations, and law enforcement recruiting.
