Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) was praised by the Left for walking in a Black Lives Matter protest in Washington, D.C. on Sunday — eight years after these same leftists viciously smeared him as a white supremacist when he ran against Barack Obama for president.

Numerous conservatives pointed out that “Mom Jeans Mitt” made his hollow, virtue-signaling gesture to jab at his nemesis, President Trump, ahead of the November election.
Romney is still furious that the President rejected him when Mitt begged to be Trump’s Secretary of State.
After Romney groveled for Trump’s endorsement when he ran for Senate in 2018, Trump graciously endorsed him. This is how leftist ingrates like Mitt thank you for helping them: By stabbing you in the back and the front.
President Trump comically mocked Mitt’s craven desperation in a sarcastic tweet.

Many underscored that the sudden interest the Left has taken in fomenting racial resentment and stoking a race war is all about the November 3 election.
It has nothing to do with “social justice” for black people. They’re merely pawns having their strings pulled like puppets in a Democrat power grab, but don’t know it — or don’t care.
Candace Owens, the founder of Blexit (Black Exit from Democrat Party), posted a chart noting that Google searches for “Black Lives Matter” peaked right before the 2016 election. Then interest in it cratered right afterward.
Now — months before the 2020 presidential election — Google searches for the term are spiking again. How convenient.

Owens tweeted: “This chart reveals how much the topic “black lives matter” receives airtime in the media every year. You will see it peaked in 2016 and it is now peaking again in 2020. How are black people still falling for this election-time narrative?”
Owens added: “If you believe everything that is wrong with black America is the fault of white people, than you believe in white supremacy.”
Candace explained: “If you believe blacks will only get better by and through the actions of white people, then their supremacy is implied.”
If you believe everything that is wrong with black America is the fault of white people, than you believe in white supremacy.
If you believe blacks will only get better by and through the actions of white people, than their supremacy is implied.
I’ve never bought into that.

When asked why he walked in the Black Lives Matter protest, Romney told NBC News: “We need to stand up and say black lives matter.”

While Democrats and their media lapdogs hyped Romney’s participation in the protest, in reality, everyone in the media and in Washington knows that Romney did it for social-media brownie points and to jab at President Trump.
Most Republicans consider Mittens a liberal anyway. That’s why Romney was disinvited from CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) in February.
At the time, CPAC chair Matt Schlapp said Mitt Romney could attend the conference — as long as he came as a liberal.
Why? Because CPAC “won’t credential him as a conservative,” Schlapp explained.

While leftists and their media allies gleefully hail hollow gestures like tweeting “Black Lives Matter!” or walking a few blocks in a staged protest, President Trump actually has a record of helping the black community.
His ACTIONS (versus cheap words) blow away anything that any recent Democrat has done to improve black lives — including the nation’s first black president, Barack Obama.
ACTIONS TRUMP EMPTY GESTURES:
- Record-low black unemployment before panic-induced shutdowns.
- $2.5 billion in federal funding for historically black colleges and universities (HBCU).
- Criminal justice reform to help rehabilitated ex-cons integrate into society via the First Step Act.
While the media lionize Black Lives Matter, the group has been mired in scandals involving nasty internal feuds amid accusations of financial theft.
A prominent black pastor recently condemned Black Lives Matter, calling it a sham movement that does nothing to help the black community. Riots and looting don’t give black people jobs or put food on their tables.
Reverend Jasper Williams Jr. said black lives will NEVER matter until black Americans stem the alarming epidemic of black-on-black murders.
During an impassioned eulogy at Aretha Frankin’s funeral, Williams decried the marginalization of black men, who have been replaced by the government in the form of welfare.
”Black America has lost its soul!” Pastor Williams said. “As I look in your house, there are no fathers in the home no more. Seventy percent of our households run by our precious, proud, fine black women. But as proud, beautiful and fine as our black women are, one thing a black woman cannot do is raise a black boy to be a man!”

Reverend Jasper Williams further jabbed at the militant Black Lives Matter movement (which blames whites for everything) by saying: “Do black lives matter? Let me answer like this:
“Black lives do not matter,
Black lives will not matter,
Black lives ought not matter,
Black lives should not matter,
Black lives must not matter…Until black people start respecting black lives and stop killing ourselves.”
