As Democrats continue to be torched over their blatant pandering in kneeling in the U.S. Capitol, one participant in the stunt is getting extra attention for all the wrong reasons.

Though U.S. Rep. Jerrold Nadler was part of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s nearly nine-minute moment of silence in Emancipation Hall on Monday, the New York Democrat apparently had some difficulty literally taking a knee for George Floyd who died in Minneapolis last week.

Democrat lawmakers, many of whom slammed President Trump for supposedly staging a “photo op” by holding a Bible in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, DC, were slammed for the spectacle they staged themselves on Monday, wearing African kente cloth scarves.

But 72-year-old Nadler was soon spotted in footage from the performance, apparently unable to join his 80-year-old leader, Pelosi in the grandstanding.

The moment could not be ignored on Twitter where Nadler’s name began trending.

Some pointed out that the Congressman literally has a disability and cannot kneel, while others wondered how Pelosi managed to get back up. That was answered in video footage of the moment.

“It’s hard to get up,” she said, as she reached out her hand for help. “It’s better not to have high heels.”

Nadler continued to prompt pointed observations in another moment from the Capitol when he appeared to struggle while removing his face mask.

House and Senate Democrats unveiled the Justice in Policing Act of 2020 on Monday, a  “sweeping police reform bill” which included plans on “demilitarizing police.”

The criticism over the Democrats’ staged photo opportunity, and Pelosi’s attempts to avoid answering direct questions, continued on social media.
