‘We voted for them!’ BLM activist Shaun King admits, ‘Dems ‘from top to bottom’ are running cities with worst brutality

The ongoing riots in several major U.S. cities continue to cause untold hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of damage as scores of businesses lining entire city blocks in Democrat-run cities are burned out or boarded up.

But the carnage remains hidden from the view of most Americans because the establishment media has thus far refused to focus on it or report how the damage is impacting cities and the lives of people who live in them.

Last week, The Philadelphia Inquirer attempted to draw attention to the horrific damage being done to cities by radical Left-wing elements who — according to the Justice Department — appear to be using the unfortunate death of Minneapolis resident George Floyd as a pretext to create chaos.

Whatever the motivation, however, what’s clear is that the damage being done is real, it’s likely to impact neighborhoods for years to come, and reinvestment in communities scarred by the riots is not at all assured.

In recent days, Americans have toured the worst-hit portions of their cities and posted the aftermath of the mayhem on social sites — essentially doing the job of the ‘mainstream’ media — so that fellow citizens can get a better idea of what’s been happening.

The images are shocking, unsettling, and seem to bear out President Donald Trump’s criticism that these cities are being run by weak Democratic leaders.

First, Minneapolis:

Now, Manhattan:

And from Mindy Robinson, a conservative activist and congressional candidate in Nevada — scary war-zone scenes from St. Louis, MO., last week:

“This isn’t a protest, this isn’t solving any injustice, this is the result of leftist media and celebrities encouraging divisive racism and violence to hurt the country and thus Trump,” Robinson wrote, noting that the chaos continued for several hours.

Ostensibly, the riots are related to ‘systemic racism’ against minorities by police (which is an inaccurate narrative, according to research and available data). But interestingly, the worst instances of police brutality occur in Democrat-run cities, and that’s according to Left-wing Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King.

“STOP generically telling us to VOTE in response to all of the police brutality we have right now. Yes we should vote. But we have to be VERY specific. Democrats, from top to bottom, are running the cities with the worst police brutality in America right now. We voted for them,” he wrote on Twitter.

Though King did not provide any examples in his tweet, Fox News notes that several cities including St. Louis, Louisville, and Minneapolis have all recently experienced some police-related killing of a minority, and all are run by Democrats.

Rioting is prevalent all over the country, but in nearly every case the cities where the worst rioting is taking place are Democrat-dominated.

As to the damage being done, it should be noted that scores of businesses that had been economically crippled after being deemed ‘non-essential’ by Democrat majors and governors are now boarded up indefinitely or destroyed.

Gone as well are an unknown number of jobs, many for good, in all likelihood.
