Jesse Watters stings media over Trump’s powerful church walk: ‘They’re bitter that they had to film it’

On Tuesday, Fox News host Jesse Watters fiercely defended President Donald Trump’s “photo op” outside St. John’s Church that had occurred Monday amid all the left-wing-supported looting and rioting that’s been happening across the country.

The so-called “photo-op” had drawn massive criticism from congressional Democrats and their allies in the veritable “Democrat” media over claims the president had used tear gas to clear out the protesters standing around the church.

Watters didn’t initially deny the since-debunked tear gas claim. Instead, he approached the criticism from another angle by arguing that the mainstream media would have cheered the move had former President Barack Hussein Obama ordered it.

I know if President Barack Obama had cleared a block of Tea Party protesters who just set fire to a church a block from the White House the night before and held the Bible up, the mainstream media would have canceled the election and crowned him king,” he said on Fox News’ “The Five.”

He was probably right, given as the media had said virtually nothing as Obama had repeatedly violated the American people’s rights by using the IRS to target conservative groups and acting vengefully against journalists he disliked by spying on them.

To this day, members of the left-wing media still claim the Obama presidency was “scandal-free.”

“The media is sour now because they were forced to shoot a photo-op of the president of the United States demonstrating that he’s not going to be intimidated by criminals,” Watters continued. “It was a very powerful moment for the country, and they’re bitter that they had to film it because it deals a big blow to their lawless side.”

“I think [New York City Mayor Bill] de Blasio should do the exact same photo-op every single block of Manhattan and clear out all of these criminals, block by block, and have the media shoot it. That’s what everybody wants. That’s what the country wants.”

Fact-check: TRUE.

A Morning Consult poll released Tuesday found that a 71 percent majority of the American people support the National Guard being used to quell the ongoing riots.

Watters then addressed the liberals, including “The Five” co-host Juan Williams, who’ve described the protesters as “peaceful,” by pointing out that the authorities around St. John’s Church took action because the protesters were in fact not acting peacefully.

“You mean the same protesters that lit the church on fire last night?” he said. “The same protesters that smashed all these windows all over Washington? The same protesters that threw a bottle at the attorney general an hour before?”

“The Park Police Commission just came out. He said they found stashed baseball bats and glass bottles, and they warned them three times to disperse because curfew was just around the corner. They didn’t. They continued to throw bottles. So they threw some smoke bombs out and pushed them back. Wow. Armageddon! Really!?”

Correct, as the report below filed by Neal Augenstein of Washington, D.C. all-news radio station WTOP shows, meaning the tear gas claim was yet another media-crafted lie:

“This is what we’re talking about,” Watters added. “This is a church next to the White House. It needs to be protected. It’s sacred ground. If the people hadn’t been pushed back one block, they would have been throwing bottles at the president of the United States. Is that what everybody wants? You trust this mob, Juan?”

“You trust this mob that’s burned the whole country down, that’s looted the whole country, that a night before set fire to a church. You trust them to be within a block of the president? I don’t trust these people at all at this point. They’ve shown no ability to be trusted at this point.”

They’ve looted, rioted and killed with reckless abandon.

“[They’re] killing cops now,” Watters continued. “Punching people in the face for no reason. They’re trying to protest violence against an innocent man, and yet they’re committing violence on innocent men and women.”

“It’s disgusting, this country’s had enough of it and this fake scandal is just another frame job of the president while the rest of the country agrees with everything he did!”

Everybody except congressional Democrats and their media allies, of course.
