Charlamagne Tha God tells Joy Reid: Biden apology is ‘cool,’ but what’s he prepared to do about reparations?

Radio personality Charlamagne Tha God apparently wants Joe Biden to commit to implementing reparations among other initiatives targeted for the black community exclusively.

In an appearance on the MSNBC far-left conspiracy platform AM Joy, the host of The Breakfast Club — which is usually a soft landing spot for Democrats and progressives — he told host Joy Reid that he didn’t have time to question the presumptive 2020 Democrat presidential nominee about reparations for African-Americans before Biden’s handlers cut the headline-making, gone-viral interview short.

“I wanted to ask him about reparations. Because, you know, in his black agenda of ‘Lift Every Voice,’ he committed to studying reparations. And I just wanted to ask him, what does reparations for black people look like to him? And what is he prepared to do based on that study?”

Included among the many promises in “Lift Every Voice: the Biden plan for Black America” is an expression of support for “a study of reparations.” Sleepy Joe also claims that his administration will launch a study of alleged persistent, systemic U.S. racism on day one.

Newsbusters derisively observes that “a President Biden would implement reparations right around the time he breaks the Jeopardy record for consecutive wins.”

With Biden backing virtually every item on the radical wish list in a desperate attempt to keep his Delaware basement campaign viable with the left-wing base, however, voters should not dismiss the possibility of reparations actually coming to pass if the Democrats get their hands on the presidency.

Charlamagne (Lenard McKelvey) also agreed with Reid about the Democrats taking the black vote for granted, particularly given Biden’s “you ain’t black” gaffe, for which the candidate has subsequently apologized.

“I mean, I know that’s the attitude. That’s why I don’t even care about the words and the lip service. And the apology is cool, but the best apology is actually a black agenda. They have to make some real policy commitments to black people. We’ve got to stop acting like the fact that blacks are overrepresented in America when it comes to welfare, poverty, unemployment, homelessness, drug addiction, crime, coronavirus—that’s no accident. The whole function of systemic racism is to marginalize black people.”

Joe Biden has already vowed to select a woman as his running mate. Should Biden pick Sen. Amy Klobuchar instead of an African-American female, the result could be voter “depression” resulting in potential Biden supporters who lack enthusiasm for the candidate staying home on election day, Charlamgne insisted.

“You can’t act like this is the most important election ever but run a campaign form your basement and not make some real policy commitments to the black community,” he noted.

President Trump has a list of accomplishments in connection with minority communities of which Charlamagne (plus everyone on the 24/7 obsessively anti-Trump MSNBC channel in front and behind the camera) seem to be unaware.

This includes criminal justice and prison reform, opportunity zones, permanent funding for historically black colleges, record (pre-COVID) unemployment among blacks, Hispanics, and the entire country’s workforce.

These achievements, along with the administration’s efforts to bring resources to minority areas particularly hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic, prompted Pastor Darrell Scott to declare that Trump is the most pro-black president in his lifetime.

For most Americans, though, reparations is a non-starter, as is the constant push for divisive identity politics.
