Tucker: Missing info in Flynn unmasking docs suggest indictments of ‘amoral creeps’ looming

Tucker Carlson: “Michael Flynn did not commit a crime. Obama administration officials, by contrast, did commit crimes.”

Fox News host Tucker Carlson says it’s likely that a grand jury has already been impaneled to consider indictments against the “amoral creeps” in the Obama administration who illegally spied on and unmasked former Trump National Security Advisor, Lieutenant General Michael Flynn.

Carlson said a key indicator of this is that “relevant information is missing” from the declassified memo revealing the names of the 39 Obama officials who had requested that General Flynn be unmasked and offered as a sacrificial lamb to the left-wing media.

“According to a knowledgeable source, a portion of the relevant information is missing from this latest document release,” Tucker said. “That could be a sign that some evidence is now in the hands of a grand jury impaneled to consider charges against whoever did this. We don’t know that’s true, but we certainly hope it is.”

Democrats and the left-wing media are downplaying the unmasking of Flynn by insisting that unmasking the names of private American citizens caught up in CIA and FBI surveillance operations is normal and happens all the time.

That’s not true — that’s why you have to file a formal request with the federal government to unmask the names of private citizens.

However, Tucker said unmasking was normal under Barack Obama’s presidency because he weaponized the intelligence community to illegally spy on, punish, and frame his political opponents.

“We spoke today to a former Intel officer who said that in his years working at CIA headquarters, he never once requested an unmasking,” Tucker said. “So the question is, why did 39 separate Obama officials ask to unmask Mike Flynn’s name?”

On the list of the Obama officials who requested Flynn’s unmasking was former Vice President Joe Biden. Carlson wondered why Biden wanted to unmask Flynn during his last few days in office.

Biden claims he didn’t remember making the request. Tucker said that’s not surprising, given Biden’s frequent memory lapses and questionable mental health.

“If it was anyone besides Joe Biden, you’d to conclude that’s an obvious lie. On the face of it, we can prove it,” Carlson said. “But because it is Joe Biden, it is possible he doesn’t remember that or what he had for breakfast. But the rest of us should remember it. It was clear that Michael Flynn did not commit a crime. Whatever you think of him, in this country you are punished for crimes. He clearly didn’t commit one.”

Carlson continued: “Obama Administration officials, by contrast, did commit crimes. Felonies. They spied on Mike Flynn. They passed his name around the White House like a joint at a party. They leaked his private conversations to Jeff Bezos’ newspaper in order to destroy his life. And they succeeded.”

Like millions of frustrated Americans, Carlson doesn’t know if any of the corrupt Obama officials will ever be sent to jail for their crimes. However, he hopes they get punished.

“These amoral creeps destroyed Michael Flynn’s life and reputation and family,” Carlson said. “They should be punished for that.”

Former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova has repeatedly blasted the Obama FBI for “framing” Flynn, saying they used him as a patsy to destroy President Trump because they’re still upset that he beat Hillary Clinton.

“Michael Flynn was framed to get Donald Trump,” diGenova said in December 2018. “[Former Obama FBI officials] Sally Yates, James Comey, Peter Strozk, Andrew McCabe all planned it. What you are watching play out in an American courtroom is one of the most disgraceful events in American criminal justice.”
