President Donald Trump urged U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham to stop being “Mr. Nice Guy” and get on with getting former President Obama to testify.

The president reacted in a tweet Thursday to the “biggest political crime and scandal” in the country, referring to the latest developments revealing efforts by Obama administration officials to “unmask” the name of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

“If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama,” Trump tweeted on Thursday. “He knew EVERYTHING.”

“Do it @LindseyGrahamSC, just do it,” the president urged the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman. “No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!”

Graham responded to the president’s tweet telling Politico’s Andrew Desiderio that it was not a move he likely be making at the moment.

“I don’t think now’s the time for me to do that,” Graham said. “I don’t know if that’s even possible. I understand President Trump’s frustration, but be careful what you wish for.”

Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell declassified a list of Obama-era intelligence officials who were involved in “unmasking” Trump campaign associates like Flynn, just days after newly released documents revealed that the FBI had essentially set a perjury trap for Flynn who was accused of lying to agents in a January 2017 interview about his conversations with the Russian ambassador.

The Department of Justice announced it was dropping the case after the revelations but Washington, D.C. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan is refusing to dismiss the case.

Graham slammed the “unmasking” efforts during an interview with “Fox & Friends” on Thursday, vowing to “get to the bottom of it.”

Trump has tweeted about what he is calling “Obamagate” and slammed the Obama administration during an interview with Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo on Thursday.

“If I were a Democrat instead of a Republican, I think everybody would have been in jail a long time ago, and I’m talking with 50-year sentences. It is a disgrace what’s happened. This is the greatest political scam, hoax in the history of our country,” Trump said.

“People should be going to jail for this stuff and hopefully, a lot of people are going to have to pay.”

“This was all Obama. This was all Biden. These people were corrupt, the whole thing was corrupt and we caught them,” he said.

The president is not the only one who is calling the parties involved to testify, as U.S. Sen. Rand Paul demanded that former Vice President Joe Biden also be questioned under oath.

“These rumors have been going around for years, that the President Obama’s administration was abusing this power of unmasking. And this sounds like they were abusing it to go after a political opponent, which I think is a very serious offense and should be investigated. And the fact that president — Vice President Biden is directly involved with unmasking a political opponent,” the Kentucky Republican said on Capitol Hill Wednesday.

“Vice President Biden is caught red-handed eavesdropping on a political opponent’s phone calls. That to me is alarming,” he said.
