Though so many new bombshells in the Russian collusion delusion hoax and conspiracy theory emerged this week, Donald Trump Jr. is confident they’ll receive limited (if any at all) coverage during the mainstream media’s Sunday shows.

“Who wants to bet that rather than focusing on all the real damning info in the Leftist Government Officials testimony’s (which amazingly were never leaked🙄) right now mainstream media is scouring my 30 hours of testimony for grammatical errors to highlight on the Sunday shows???” he tweeted late Saturday.

Look:

It’s likely a fair bet given the media’s behavior. As noted by Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe in her own tweet Saturday, the lack of outrage from the media over being “intentionally lied to and spun by so many Obama officials” is telling.

Look:

It’s not surprising though given the willful role that the media played in peddling the Russian collusion delusion hoax. To hear The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis tell it, the media weren’t “unwitting dupes” of the hoax but rather “willing accomplices.”

Look:

And it shows in their reaction.

Like conservative commentator, Mike Cernovich noted, “If you’re an honest person who fell for the Russian collusion narrative, you’d be outraged today as the release of Congressional records show. … but lol you won’t be mad!”

And indeed the media aren’t mad — or at least not over this. Instead, they’re mad that President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, has been vindicated by the Department of Justice.

Following the DOJ’s decision Thursday to drop its long-panned case against Flynn, the media erupted into rage, with MSNBC attributing the decision to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s influence (wrong), and CNN claiming without evidence that “the fix is in” (wrong).

It took White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany to dispel these stunningly unsubstantiated claims from what are supposed to be legitimate news outlets.

“The interrogation of Michael Flynn was not an inquiry,” she explained to the media during Friday’s White House briefing. “Make no mistake. It was a trap. Even more troubling was the fact that after the interrogation of Flynn, former deputy director of the FBI, Andy McCabe, concluded that he quote, ‘Didn’t think Flynn was lying.'”

All of that was true.

“But the case against Flynn continued. We were pleased to learn yesterday that the justice department moved to drop the case against General Michael Flynn. Though it took several years, it is encouraging to see that justice finally prevailed,” she added.

“As we move forward as a country, it’s important to take these revelations very seriously in order for Americans to have faith in our justice system. If the top leadership of the FBI can target a three-star general who served this country for three decades, make no mistake, they can target you. It’s hard to believe that this happened in the United States of America.”

Listen to the whole briefing below:

But the media have their own narrative — one that states Flynn’s decision in 2018 to plead guilty in late 2017 is proof positive that he didn’t deserve to have his case dropped.

Never mind all the unearthed evidence showing that he was coerced into pleading guilty after malicious FBI agents led by then-Director James Comey unethically lured him into a perjury trap and Mueller’s team threatened to pursue legal action against his son unless he complied.

And these are not crazy “right-wing” conspiracy theories. They’re facts that were echoed by the 130-year-old Wall Street Journal’s whole editorial board this week.

“Mr. Comey and his loyalists …  set up Mr. Flynn in an interview despite having no legal basis,” the board wrote. “The documents show that Mr. Comey told his deputies not to inform the White House general counsel of the visit and not to tell the White House about his conversation with the ambassador.”

“They also show that Mr. Comey worked around senior Justice officials, including Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, who thought the White House should be informed. As he did with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on Hillary Clinton’s emails, Mr. Comey acted as if he was a law unto himself.”

The documents also show “the agents admitted they did not think Mr. Flynn was lying to them,” the board continued, yet Mueller’s team pursued Flynn anyway, “threatening him and his son with ruin until [they] got the guilty plea.”

But all of this is being ignored by the demonstrably left-wing media, which continues to act as if Flynn’s guilty plea alone proves his guilt:

And that’s why the chances of hearing anything even remotely related to the matter on Sunday seems awfully low, which is why some are now convinced that it isn’t even worth tuning in to them in the first place:
