Now that the Justice Department has decided to drop its case against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn following the release of bombshell evidence indicating he was set up by the FBI, some people are pointing out the role the ‘mainstream media’ had in perpetuating the entire ‘Russiagate’ hoax.
In particular, CNN’s Jake Tapper is being called out by pundits who note he repeatedly gave Congress’ biggest Russiagate hoaxer, House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), air time to spew his conspiracies unchallenged.
For instance, Schiff was given a platform on Tapper’s program several times to claim, incorrectly and without challenge, that “evidence of collusion” between the 2016 campaign of Donald Trump and Russia is “in plain sight.”
Not only did special counsel Robert Mueller and his partisan Democrat-leaning prosecutors fail to find any collusion evidence, but it’s been established by the Justice Department inspector general that Obama-era figures conspired to defraud the FISA court with a phony “Russia dossier” in order to get a warrant to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
That alone indicates that the entire ‘collusion’ narrative was a fabrication.
But Schiff, thanks to Tapper, got plenty of time on-air to perpetuate the lie even after Mueller and his team found nothing to substantiate the California Democrat’s wild claims.
Schiff knew it was a lie all along
And Tapper had him on his show to spread whatever disinformation he came up with next

The public faces of the operation were Schiff and Tapper

In addition to the serial peddling of the Russian collusion hoax, Schiff has also been sitting on once-secret, now declassified, transcripts from a 2018 closed-door House Intelligence Committee hearing related to the Russian collusion hoax.
“The transcripts were originally authorized for release by the then-GOP-controlled Intelligence Committee in September of 2018. However, the transcripts first had to be reviewed by the intelligence officials for any necessary redaction. Their review reportedly concluded last summer, yet the transcripts have remained hidden since,” BizPac Review reported Thursday,
“The transcripts are relevant because they reportedly show top law enforcement and intelligence officials confirming that they had found no evidence of collusion between President Donald Trump and Russian operatives,” the report added.
Schiff is now preparing to release at least some of the transcripts — which have been ready for release since early last year — because Richard Grenell, the acting director of national intelligence, is forcing his hand.
Acting DNI Grenell planned on releasing these transcripts tomorrow at 10 a.m. Schiff then had no choice but to get ahead of it by releasing them today. ODNI also has them up now. https://t.co/I3pHRAOeJs
