MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace may be feeling the effects of weeks of the coronavirus crisis as she didn’t even try to hide her disdain for President Donald Trump.

The Trump-hating host of  MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” looked past the tragic loss of American lives and the crashing economy to celebrate the “silver lining” amid the pandemic, which is that the president will be hurt politically by the fallout.

Wallace seemed to suggest that after the many attempts by his critics to remove him from office, which have failed in epic ways, the president’s alleged lies and “sins” will finally be “catching up” with him as his handling of the virus outbreak will finally inflict the damage the Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers have been hoping for.

“There is something both tragic, and pathetic, and ironic about the fact that it took a, you know, color-blind, gender-blind, you know, state-line-blind virus to sort of have all of the president’s sins from his first three years catch up with him,” Wallace said in a panel discussion Thursday.

“You can’t stand there and lie. You can’t contradict your scientists because they’re the ones that stand at 66 and 68 percent public trust, not you. He’s down at 38 percent. Pence is lower than him,” she claimed.

“I mean, he needs those people whether he likes what they say or not and I wonder what you think about whether or not there’s some silver lining there, that some of the things that, that we’ve been talking about for three years may be finally catching up with him?” Wallace asked Ron Klain, former President Obama’s “Ebola czar.”

Though he did not continue the “silver lining” narrative Wallace was rolling out, Klain did tout Obama’s handling of the Ebola outbreak and communicating “honestly” with Americans.

“I think the reality is that a leader in this situation has to tell the American people the truth,” Klain, an adviser to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, said.

“You know, when we were managing the Ebola response, President Obama was always clear with the public that we had seen cases of Ebola in the United States. We were going to see more cases in the United States. That was unpleasant news. He shared it with people honestly and told them honestly what we were doing to keep them safe,” he added.

“When President Trump stands up yesterday and says there will not be a second wave, he’s denying the inevitable,” he claimed.

“If you look at the history of epidemics, there’s always a second and third wave. This idea that it’s a smooth curve up and smooth curve down is wrong. It’s not going to look like that,” Klain contended.

“And so when the disease comes back this fall, will President Trump try to tell us again, ‘No one saw it coming, who could have possibly foreseen that?’ That argument, which is a false argument now, is going to look like a ridiculous argument in the fall when he stood in the briefing room and tried to spar with his own health officials about the scientific indefinability that this virus will be back,” Klain declared.

“You must know some of the people that are engaged in this fight on behalf of the country. Thank them for all of us,” Wallace said.

“We’re grateful for the work they do under these extraordinary circumstances,” she added before taking another smug shot at the president. “I imagine they feel like they’re fighting on two fronts. They’re fighting this new and pretty vexing disease but they’re also fighting against someone who is much more comfortable with disinformation than facts.”

The liberal media continues to celebrate anything that makes Trump look bad in their eyes, hoping that Americans are as blind with hatred as they are and will see fit to vote him out of office in November. But the current crisis in the nation seems to have brought more of the bias and disdain to the surface so that those like Wallace just come right out and say what they really think.

Twitter users soon responded to the MSNBC anchor’s “silver lining.”
