As protests against coronavirus-based lockdowns continue spreading across the country (and globe), authorities are growing increasingly despotic and arguably fascist in their enforcement of “stay-at-home” orders, with police in one community arresting a woman for simply planning a protest.
That woman, Kim Pagan of New Jersey, reportedly faces charges for “organizing a prohibited event” that involved protesters gathering in order “to demonstrate against” Gov. Phil Murphy‘s potentially unconstitutional coronavirus restrictions.
“Pagan has to answer to the charge in Muncipal Court. Violations of emergency orders constitute a disorderly persons offense carrying a potential sentence of up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine,” Fox News reported.
On Friday, New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal posted a tweet in which he seemed to mock Pagan and other locals who’ve been charged for violating the governor’s authoritarian decrees:
If you think emergency orders are more like guidelines than actual rules, think again. Here’s the latest on our enforcement actions: https://t.co/9kNEDJ4TNC
I know social distancing isn’t exactly enjoyable, but now’s not the time for fun & games. Please stay home & stay safe.

But try as he and other officials might to infringe on the American people’s constitutionally guaranteed right “peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances,” protests continue to blossom throughout the country, from Nevada to Idaho, Texas and even California.

Presumably inspired by the patriots in America, protests against the “coronavirus apocalypse” are also starting to emerge in other nations, including Germany, Brazil and India.
“Migrant Indian workers stranded in Mumbai converged on the city’s Bandra Railway station on Tuesday to protest against the extension of the coronavirus lockdown and to demand to be allowed to return to their villages,” the Financial Times reported Tuesday.
“The unrest in India’s financial centre is a sign of growing impatience towards the government’s coronavirus measures among the country’s poorest and most vulnerable citizens who have seen their incomes collapse.”

Despite these global protests involving people of various races and religions joining together to protest what they view as actual fascism, members of the political left have tried to portray them as “far-right” protests rooted in white supremacy.
Similarly, they’ve doubled down on their accusations that President Donald Trump — who’s tacitly joined protesters by loudly vocalizing his shared opposition to the creeping authoritarianism being seen across the world — as the real tyrant.
“It’s Time To Say It: Trump Is Handling COVID-19 Like A Dictator,” a disturbingly delusional headline at HuffPost reads.
No such headlines about Democrat Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer — whose behavior actually fits with the definition of what it means to be a dictator/tyrant — can be found at the far-left mainstream establishment news website.
To some, the fact that it’s members of the left — including the left-wing establishment media — who’re arguing and taking action against the right to assemble, speak and worship speaks volumes about who America’s real tyrants and dictators happen to be.
Look:
TX, MI, OR, WA… protests all over the country this weekend!
One question: Why are all those protesting labeled “right-wing” or “conservative” activists?!

1933 Germany.
Hitler is Chancellor.
German citizens urged to report neighbors, teachers, relatives…..Jews, homosexuals, malcontents, regime critics, etc.2020. After years of calling GOP fascist/Nazi, first thing Democrat governors do in a crisis is act like fascists/Nazis. https://t.co/N1LDauLy33

Trump wants people to have the freedom to reopen their businesses.
Democrats are banning church services and issuing lockdown orders.
Who are the real fascists?
— Cernovich (@Cernovich) April 16, 2020
You really see all the true fascists come out to play the moment a crisis hits
These people are actually arguing against the right to assemble, speak, and worship
— Tim Pool (@Timcast) April 18, 2020
There are a lot of fascists working at media companies
They started taking off their masks now that they think its safe
They support censorship
They oppose freedom of travel, assembly, speech, and worship
— Tim Pool (@Timcast) April 18, 2020
Is it fair to accuse someone who’s “actually arguing against the right to assemble, speak, and worship” of being a fascist? It certainly seems so.
