House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has reportedly deleted a Twitter video from late February that showed her downplaying the coronavirus pandemic, forcing others to share their own copies of the same video so as to ensure her habitual foolishness isn’t soon forgotten.

While it’s not clear when exactly she deleted the video, 2020 Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale brought it to the public’s attention in a tweet posted early Wednesday evening.

He wrote: “It seems Nervous Nancy Pelosi has deleted the video of herself in Chinatown on February 24 saying that fears of the coronavirus were ‘unwarranted in light of the precautions that are being taken here in the United States.’ She doesn’t want Americans to see what she said then!”

As word of the deletion spread, critics from across the country made a beeline for Twitter to share their own copies of the telling video footage.

Look:

It’s not clear whether their efforts will be at all impactful, as the mainstream establishment press have completely ignored and buried Pelosi’s remarks.

While it’s true the remarks were originally shared by both the videos above and write-ups from various local outlets, only conservatives ever took note of the evidence.

“Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi toured San Francisco’s Chinatown Monday to send a message. She said there’s no reason tourists or locals should be staying away from the area because of coronavirus concerns,” Bay Area station KNTV reported on Feb. 24.

“So, that’s why we want people to come to Chinatown. Don’t be afraid. Enjoy it all. It’s beautiful and there are some good bargains here now, so it’s a good time to come,” the speaker said while visiting the Asian community.

Five days after her visit, health officials in Washington State reported the first domestic coronavirus death.

This stunning timing was never once addressed by members of the establishment media, even as they tried relentlessly to accuse President Donald Trump of being the one who’d downplayed the deadly virus.

Nor were any of these examples ever addressed:

  • “We should deescalate the war on coronavirus.” ~ Wired magazine, 1-29-2020
  • “Coronavirus not a global health crisis.” ~ USA Today, 1-23-2020
  • “This is not a major threat to the people in the United States and it is not something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about.” ~ Dr. Anthony Fauci, 1-21-2020
  • “We are encouraging New Yorkers to go about their everyday lives and suggest practicing everyday precautions that we do through the flu season.” ~ New York City health commissioner Dr. Oxiris Barbot, 2-3-2020
  • “Worried about catching the new coronavirus? In the U.S., the flu is a bigger threat.” ~ NPR, 1-29-2020
  • “Don’t worry about the coronavirus, worry about the flu.” ~ BuzzFeed, 1-29-20

The examples go on for days and include both mainstream establishment press outlets and “journalists,” as well as noted Democrat politicians such as New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, whose disturbing denial of the coronavirus pandemic’s deadly impact stretched all the way to early March, long after the president had begun taking action.

In contrast, the president instituted a travel ban on China in January, thus triggering Democrats like de Blasio into bashing him for his “xenophobia.” Before the end of the month, he also launched a task force to monitor and prevent the virus’s spread.

During the 2020 State of the Union address days later on Feb. 4, Trump spoke in more detail about the seriousness of the coronavirus threat.

“Protecting Americans’ health also means fighting infectious diseases. We are coordinating with the Chinese government and working closely together on the coronavirus outbreak in China. My administration will take all necessary steps to safeguard our citizens from this threat,” he said.

Listen:

After the conclusion of the entire speech, Pelosi ripped up her copy of it in a move of defiance, thus earning herself massive kudos from the same mainstream establishment press that’s now devoted to accusing the president of being the one who’d downplayed the virus.
