Whereas the craziest denizens of the political right tend to inhabit the outermost fringes of the movement, the most demented denizens of the political left tend to be mainstream left-wing media stars.
Take so-called “journalist” and author Sarah Kendzior, whose work has appeared in Al Jazeera, Marie Claire, The Guardian, The New York Times and The Boston Globe — and whose commentary has frequently been featured on MSNBC’s “AM Joy.”
Example:
She’s no fringe lunatic — she’s a mainstream one who even possesses her own blue checkmark on the popular left-wing social media platform Twitter.
In a demonstrably demented tweet posted Monday afternoon, this mainstream figure posited without evidence that President Donald Trump’s interest in the potential miracle coronavirus cure hydroxychloroquine is part of a cover-up …
His real intention, she claimed, is to hide his and his “crime cult’s” true desire to commit mass murder upon the American population …
Look:
Trump’s trying to convince people that he wants it cured and that, should a cure appear, it would be accessible to all. So the media focus on the proposed drug instead of the cold reality — which is that the Trump crime cult wanted people to die, and they want many more to die.

Again, this is a mainstream figure — one who’s had columns published at The New York Times and who’s been cited as a legitimate source by The Washington Post.
Her bizarre tweet was part of a lengthier Twitter thread.
View the whole thread below, and notice how the first thread contains a link to her Patreon. That’s the type of action a blatant grifter would take.
“Trump and esp Kushner are responsible for the pandemic response. The Trump Crime Family needs to retain power; they’ll do whatever it takes. They’ll try to steal the election. And if they can’t, they will run Ivanka.” — @AndreaChalupa on @gaslitnation https://t.co/0Szt6B57iM

“Kushner is using Facebook groups to get info on a *pandemic* like I would use Facebook to sell used furniture!” — @AndreaChalupa
“IMO that Facebook story is a cover for something worse. It’s malice disguised as incompetence.” — me on @gaslitnation https://t.co/0Szt6ANwre

“The Trump regime tries to cover up crime with scandal. They try to cover up malice with incompetence. This admin was keenly aware of the virus and its potential to cause the kind of collapse that Trump has long rooted for openly.” — @gaslitnation https://t.co/0Szt6ANwre
— Sarah Kendzior (@sarahkendzior) March 18, 2020
“They want to project an image of being inept, instead of as having a cruel and well-defined plan. They have ambition; their ambition is evil. They want us to think they don’t know what they’re doing. I think they know *exactly* what they’re doing.” https://t.co/0Szt6ANwre

They usually have two goals: 1) short term scam profits 2) longer term disaster capitalist destruction. Basically they’ll make a little money on the side while committing mass murder.

According to this mainstream figure, the Trump administration’s alleged ineptitude amid the global coronavirus pandemic has been purposeful …
Why? Because the administration — namely the president and his son-in-law, White House senior adviser Jared Kushner — have purposefully sought to see people die and the economy collapse …
Why? Because collapsing the economy would allow them to “steal” the election …
Does this make any sense to you? It shouldn’t, especially since the booming economy of the pre-coronavirus days was the president’s top selling point going into the 2020 race.
“President Donald Trump has a low approval rating. He is engaging in bitter Twitter wars and facing metastasizing investigations,” Politico reported last March.
“But if the election were held today, he’d likely ride to a second term in a huge landslide, according to multiple economic models with strong track records of picking presidential winners and losses.”
Nine months later in December of last year, Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi offered the same prediction.
“The election is Trump’s to lose,” he told Bloomberg at the time. “Trump wins if the economy and his approval rating are about the same a year from now as today, and turnout is typical.”
But, he cautioned, if the economy were to tank, the president would be in trouble.
Yet with the economy now tanking four months later because of the global coronavirus pandemic, a mainstream left-wing media star is saying outright that Trump planned all of this so he could somehow scoot his way to victory come November.
It’s unclear if and when — if ever — CNN’s Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy will highlight Kendzior’s radicalism to their viewers. After all, the duo loves going after those who peddle fringe nonsense. Well, unless of course, the ones peddling the nonsense happen to be among their own media class. Then it’s another matter altogether.
Because of the media’s hypocrisy, the act of renouncing this radicalism and idiocy has therefore been relegated to the public, as usual:
Of course you’d have a blue checkmark. It’s a prerequisite for such an insane tweet.

The figure above is missing the media class, which may very well rank as the dumbest, most narcissistic, most egoistical, most oblivious group of people on Earth.
If only this radicalism weren’t par for the course. Alas, it’s a staple among members of the left, be it media figures or Democrat Party lawmakers.
Speaking of which …
I can’t take it anymore. I’ve been to The Hague. I’m making a referral for crimes against humanity tomorrow. Today’s press conference was the last straw. I know the need for a prosecution referral when I see one. https://t.co/XQin24gqY4

But don’t expect to hear about any of this from CNN …
