You’ve probably heard the expression those who can, do, and those who can’t, teach.
A Rhode Island public school teacher perhaps gave that chestnut a new meaning by allegedly taking to Twitter with an offer to pay someone infected with COVID-19 to cough on President Trump.
The educator in question, who has subsequently deactivated her Twitter account that purportedly operated anonymously under the handle “Proud Teacher,” is said to teach English as a Second Language to middle schoolers. She previously taught in neighboring Massachusetts.

There is no indication as yet as to whether public school administrators will look into this matter further with an eye toward possible discipline. If deemed an actual threat to the president rather than just another day on left-wing Twitter, the Secret Service would need to get involved.

According to a 2017 blog post by school choice activist Keri Rodrigues, the anti-Trump teacher also has a history of hostility toward parents “weighing in on education or education policy.”
This "proud teacher" is Amy Bednarz.
She also stalks school choice supporters.

It’s not just Trump himself that the tolerance community wants to become infected with the coronavirus. The wish-fulfillment seems to extend to ordinary Americans who happen to be Trump supporters.
For example, a former Hillary Clinton and Kirsten Gillibrand adviser and Trump critic who was an executive at Buffalo, N.Y., hospital declared on Facebook that if Trump fans got sick, they should “pledge to give up their ventilators…and not go to the hospital.”
Ex-Trump campaign operative Michael Caputo — who you’ve probably seen on cable news frequently discussing the Russia collusion hoax — shared screenshots of the executive’s Facebook exchange with a like-minded anti-Trumper on Twitter.

After putting the executive on administrative leave pending an investigation, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center terminated executive Laura Krolczyk over the remarks, which the facility described as “inappropriate” and not reflective of the facility.
In 2019, Krolczyk took home a salary of about $200,000 as an employee of the hospital, so the Trump-constituency bashing was not — at least in the short term — a wise career move. Krolczyk apparently served as Hillary’s western New York regional director.
CNN is probably keeping a seat warm for her, however.
The other party in the Facebook exchange has been put on administrative leave by the Hauptman Woodward Medical Research Institute pursuant to an internal review.
For Democrats, everything is about politics and extending their “sick” obsession with weilding political power.
Caputo commended the nationally recognized Buffalo facility for “proving they have zero tolerance for sick partisan comments about a public health crisis.”
