Hillary Clinton lambasted for disgusting potshot that exploits US virus tragedy to make Trump look bad

Amidst the most alarming threat to Americans and our way of life in memory, there can be no surprise when the left uses the crisis to take potshots at the president as well as denigrate those who are risking their own well-being to save countless lives.

None other than Hillary Clinton, the very personification of the left’s malevolence, surfaced again from her burrow with a growl and a heartless tweet about the magnitude of the crisis facing the nation. On Thursday, data tracking the global spread of COVID-19 showed that the United States has surpassed China and Italy for having the most confirmed cases of the coronavirus. Of course, the numbers out of China are dubious and widely viewed as under-reported for political reasons.

Clinton’s vile tweet in response referenced President Trump’s campaign slogan that served as the basis for her defeat in the 2016 presidential election, saying, “He did promise ‘America First.'”

Bitter Hillary keeps showing up to remind us all how fortunate we are that Donald Trump is in the White House. This time around, the backlash erupting on social media was fast and furious.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw replied, “Delete your account. This isn’t the time. This can’t be the new normal, where American tragedy is applauded for the sake of political opportunism.

“Hillary Clinton touting figures that are a result of Chinese disinformation to dunk on America and sick Americans is a pretty good reminder why she lost in 2016,” wrote Matt Whitlock, an advisor to the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

“This sort of vicious celebratory tone about Americans getting sick & dying during a deadly global pandemic is just appalling,” commented Washington Examiner reporter Jerry Dunleavy.

In reality, the likes of Hillary Clinton and other tone-deaf Democrats are what will keep President Trump and the GOP firmly in control for the foreseeable future. “Please keep talking because you’re the greatest political gift any Republican could ever hope for,” tweeted Cliff Sims, former White House official.

Conservative crack-shot commentator James Woods hit the bullseye with his response to Clinton …

In a woeful attempt to defend his employer, Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill told Fox News: “The situation we find ourselves in was demonstrably avoidable, and pointing that out with a reference to the President’s empty rhetoric is nothing more than another way of pleading for him to lead.”

Greg Gutfeld, co-host of “The Five,” skewered Clinton on Friday, pointing out: “When you look at people suffering — by the way, the infection rates are increasing because we are testing more and these are people that really wanted more testing so you will actually see more infection rates — if you see that as an opportunity to direct attention to yourself on social media, you are what scientists would call a scumbag.”
