President Donald Trump eviscerated CBS News’ Paula Reid at a White House coronavirus briefing, saying she and other “lamestream media” constantly spout “fake news.”
The brouhaha erupted after Reid asked Trump if he wanted to reopen the U.S. economy by Easter solely to help his chances for reelection even if it means letting people die.
Keep in mind that Trump has said that “no deaths” from the coronavirus are acceptable to him. The President had said that he hopes to reopen the economy by Easter — if the coronavirus outbreak is contained.
The President said it’s no secret that many Trump-haters are gleefully rooting for a recession (and an indefinite shutdown) in the hopes that it would hurt his chances for reelection.
“The media would like to see me do poorly in the election,” Trump said. “I think there are certain people who would like it to not open so quickly. I think there are certain people that would like [the economy] to do poorly because they think that would be very good as far as defeating me at the polls.”
The President continued: “It’s very clear that there are people in your profession that write fake news. You do. And she does [pointing to an unidentified reporter]. There are people in your profession that write fake news.”

Shortly before his press briefing, President Trump shot down an anonymous CNN report claiming that he was isolating himself in the White House amid coronavirus fears.
Trump tweeted: “I hear that Fake News CNN just reported that I am isolated in the White House, wondering out loud, “When will life return to normal?” Does anybody really believe that? There was no leak, they made it up – they are CORRUPT and FAKE NEWS.”
The President pointed out: “I have been packed all day with meetings. I have no time for stupidity. We’re working around the clock to KEEP AMERICA SAFE!”

It is thanks to this unending stream of biased, fake news that President Trump’s approval ratings have rocketed to a two-year high.
Moreover, a whopping 61% of American voters approve of Trump’s handling of the coronavirus epidemic, according to new polls.
Meanwhile, here’s some background on CBS News’ Paula Reid: She’s an open-borders leftist who was widely mocked in 2017 for slamming the Trump administration for arresting illegal aliens who drive while drunk.
Drunk driving kills 10,000 people in the United States every year.

Reid’s attempt to suggest that President Trump was doing something wrong by cracking down on illegal aliens who kill people by driving drunk is why 94% of Americans say they do NOT trust the media.
Illegal immigration is not only a massive financial drain on taxpayers ($113 billion a year) but is also linked to numerous crimes, such as gang-related murders, drug violence, and traffic offenses.
Just ask Don Rosenberg, who misses his son Drew every day. Drew Rosenberg was mowed down by a car driven by an illegal alien. Drew was riding his motorcycle in San Francisco when Roberto Galo struck him in November 2010.

In a frantic effort to flee the scene of his crime, Galo ran over Drew twice, killing the 25-year-old student. After Galo was convicted of manslaughter, he served just six weeks in jail and was released.
Why are the mainstream media siding with foreign illegal aliens over their fellow Americans? Is it any wonder that millions of Americans dismiss them as “fake news?”
