Dr. Fauci stifles laughter at President Trump’s joke that triggered the press into a frenzy

Nobody is immune from the mainstream left’s lies, including National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci.

During a coronavirus briefing at the White House this Friday, President Donald Trump said something that clearly made the doctor laugh.

Given the gravitas of the briefing, Fauci then tried to cover up his otherwise very obvious chuckling by bringing his hand to his face.

But by doing so, he violated his cardinal rule that one should not touch his or her face during the global coronavirus pandemic.

Watch the full clip below (disable your adblocker if the video doesn’t appear):

“One thing: Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is extremely busy, so if you have any questions for him right now, could you do that?” the president said.

You know what I’d like to do? I’d like him to go back to the State Department. Or as I call it, the Deep State Department.”

Fauci clearly found it funny when the president jokingly referred to the State Department as the “Deep State Department.”

It’s no big deal, right? Trump is a funny guy, after all.

But leave it to some shameless propagandists on the left to twist what happened and lie to the public so as to score points against the otherwise widely praised president.

Look:

This is called propaganda

See what they did? Being as they’re masters of misinformation and disinformation, these hucksters removed all context by eliminating the part of the clip that shows Fauci laughing and instead only showing the part where he brings his hand to his face.

These propagandists essentially manipulated the footage to make it seem as if the doctor was face-palming. Yet ironically, these are the same propagandists who cry foul when the president’s team does the same thing. Apparently, two wrongs make a right.

Except whereas the president’s admitted lies and manipulations are few and far between, the establishment left’s proclivity for mistruths runs deep.

Case in point:

The latter tweet pointed to the media’s reportedly incomplete portrayal of the confrontation that led to the president slamming NBC’s Peter Alexander during Friday’s briefing.

To hear the media tell it, Alexander simply asked the president to share some comforting words with those Americans who feel scared. But according to critics, that’s not how things actually played out. The question was reportedly part of a clear-cut attempt by Alexander to shame the president for trying to be positive during a time of crisis.

Just as the the media’s incomplete GIFs and images of Fauci were clearly part of a clear-cut ploy to portray the president as an incompetent boob:
