Kamala helps Biden ‘plead’ for votes in cringe campaign video that only the Trump team seems to love

In a desperate attempt to get her base to support her new best friend, Kamala Harris made a video with 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and the result is nothing short of painful.

The video, which appears to be forced in every sense of the word, features Joe Biden desperate for the votes of Harris supporters who have come to be known as the “KHive.” It starts out as if Biden and Harris are just getting done filming an endorsement video. The “producer” says “cut,” and the pair turn to each other in a “candid” moment.

Biden asks Harris how she’s doing and gives her barely enough time to answer before asking her about the “KHive.” The video then clips several videos from rallies and the like where her supporters are loud and enthusiastic. After 4 seconds, the video cuts back to the awkward pair, with Harris saying: “They’re pretty awesome.”

“I’d sure love to have their support,” Biden says.

“All you have to do is ask,” Kamala says, all smiles and canned enthusiasm.

Biden then turns back to the camera and all but begs for the support of Harris’ followers.

Watch:

Twitter, and especially her fellow liberals, were quick to call out what they saw as hypocrisy surrounding her endorsement of Joe Biden, considering the way she pummeled him on his civil rights and race records during the Democratic debates.

Some even dredged up her record as a prosecutor as an explanation for why she would support “Ol’ Joe.”

It looked like the only person who truly liked the video was President Trump, whose campaign wasted no time in turning the cringe-worthy video into fuel for their fire.

Perhaps the endorsement and subsequent desperate plea to her followers seems so disingenuous because Harris painstakingly dismantled Biden’s civil rights record in a debate moment that went viral, though she now touts that same record as a reason to support the former VP’s presidential bid.

One person not impressed with Biden’s civil rights record was Jesse Jackson, who has chosen to lend his endorsement to socialist Bernie Sanders.

“A people far behind cannot catch up choosing the most moderate path,” Jackson said in a statement. “The most progressive social and economic path gives us the best chance to catch up and Sen. Bernie Sanders represents the most progressive path. That’s why I choose to endorse him today.”
