Kim Kardashian West revealed that she would be meeting with President Donald Trump to once again discuss criminal justice reform.
The reality TV star shared about a Wednesday meeting at the White House on her Twitter account, telling her 63.7 million followers that she was headed to meet with Trump to “discuss more change that our justice system desperately needs.”

Kardashian West met with the president in the Oval Office in 2018 to discuss prison reform and sentencing, pressing the case for Alice Marie Johnson, a grandmother who was serving a life sentence on nonviolent drug and money laundering charges. Trump granted Johnson clemency shortly after the meeting.

The 39-year-old entrepreneur who has been studying law also shared the stories of the women joining her on Wednesday who had all had their prison sentences commuted by the president.
“President Trump commuted the sentences of three really deserving women,” she wrote. “I didn’t hear much about it in the news so I wanted to share with you their stores! I have the pleasure of spending the day with these women today along with @AliceMarieFree who helped to pick these women.”

Munoz, who was highlighted in one tweet, was pregnant with her second child when she was sentenced to 20 years on marijuana charges.

Negron, a mother of two, was given the “longest sentence ever given to a female for a white collar crime.”

Tynice Hall left behind a three-year old son when she was sentenced to a 35 year jail term for a non violent drug conspiracy.

“Tynice rehabilitated herself and prepared for a future outside of prison by completing numerous classes and becoming certified in various trades,” Kardashian West tweeted.
CNN political commentator and former Obama “Green Czar” Van Jones tweeted that he hoped Trump continued “granting clemencies & pardons to sisters like this.”

First daughter Ivanka Trump celebrated the visit by the women with a photo she tweeted which included herself and husband Jared Kushner who has played an important part in the administration’s criminal justice reform efforts.
