Proving once again that Hollywood endorsements mean nothing, film director Clint Eastwood declared his support for Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg.
Eastwood is a gun-toting, self-proclaimed libertarian who famously lectured an empty chair (that was supposed to represent an invisible Barack Obama) at the 2012 RNC Convention. At the time, Clint endorsed Mitt Romney for president.

“The best thing we could do is just get Mike Bloomberg in there,” Eastwood told the Wall Street Journal. “Politics has gotten so ornery.”
Eastwood said he approves of “certain things that Trump has done” but is put off by his brash personality.
“[I wish Trump would act] in a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names,” Eastwood said. “I would personally like for him to not bring himself to that level.”
It’s ironic that Eastwood, 89, supports Bloomberg, considering that Bloomberg believes the government should let older people who get cancer die. Why? Because Bloomberg suggested that treating sick, old people is a waste of money.
So if Clint — who turns 90 in May — got cancer this year, his pal Mini-Mike would be content to let him die instead of treating him.

In 2012, Eastwood endorsed Mitt Romney’s failed presidential campaign. In 2016, Eastwood said he preferred Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton but stopped short of a full endorsement.
“I’d have to go for Trump because [Hillary has] declared that she’s going to follow in Obama’s footsteps,” Eastwood said in 2016.
Now, Eastwood has declared himself a libertarian. To his credit, Eastwood is a Second-Amendment advocate who has trashed the “fake-news media” in his latest film, Richard Jewell.
Predictably, the Left slammed Eastwood for his negative-but-accurate portrayal of the media in the film, where they’re painted as dishonest vultures who overhype propaganda to push left-wing agendas.
It’s unlikely that Eastwood’s endorsement will help Mike Bloomberg, considering his terrible performance at the recent Democratic primary debate. Many remarked that Bloomberg was flustered and poorly-prepared to deal with the onslaught of criticism leveled at him by all his opponents.
Notably, Senator Elizabeth Warren slam-dunked Bloomberg over his past sexist comments and the pile of NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) filed by female employees accusing his media company of sexual harassment and a hostile work environment.
Mike Bloomberg is also under fire for ordering Bloomberg News (a “media” company) to not investigate their boss or any Democratic presidential candidate. However, Bloomberg News must continue to relentlessly investigate President Trump.
Bloomberg News has been widely criticized for this gross dereliction of journalistic ethics.
Many note that Bloomberg News’ refusal to investigate any Democratic presidential candidate proves that it is nakedly partisan and doesn’t care that everyone knows this.
Fox News host Martha MacCallum was shocked: “The fact that this ‘news’ organization is saying that they are not going to investigate Bloomberg or any of the Democrat candidates, but they will investigate President Trump just says, ‘We are completely on one side.’ I don’t know how you can be a news organization that way.”

Lara Trump, the wife of Eric Trump, is a senior adviser on the President’s re-election campaign. Lara is not surprised by this apparent admission by Bloomberg News that it is biased.
Let this sink in: If Bloomberg News’ political coverage is biased, imagine how partisan its “business news” coverage is. All those negative stories about the booming Trump economy are presumably tainted by the organization’s anti-Trump animus.
“This is exactly what we have seen from the vast majority of the mainstream media since Day 1 of Donald Trump’s presidency,” Lara told Fox News. “They are obsessed with finding anything that this President did wrong. He says something in the wrong tone, they attack him. Yet when it comes to the Democrats [they ignore all the scandals and corruption].”
Lara explained: “The mainstream media is the marketing arm for the Democrat Party by default. So this is not that surprising to hear that they are not going to investigate Bloomberg, they are not going to investigate any Democrats. That shouldn’t be shocking to anyone. It says a lot.”
