Roger Stone jury reportedly stacked with leftist activists; Obama-appointed judge allegedly ignored

New findings strongly suggest that, thanks in part to left-wing Judge Amy Berman Jackson, convicted former Trump campaign official and longtime political consultant Roger Stone’s guilt wasn’t determined last year by an unbiased jury but rather by one stocked with partisan left-wing operatives.

Among the alleged operatives was former Tennessee Democrat congressional candidate Tomeka Hart, a far-left activist who’d been posting negative stories about President Donald Trump and his alleged (and since-debunked) Russian collusion crimes to social media long before she was selected to serve on Stone’s jury last November.

Case in point:

Hart publicly revealed her identity this week as the jury’s foreperson in private social media posts which were originally shared with CNN.

“A juror on the Roger Stone trial said she wants to ‘stand up’ for the four prosecutors who withdrew from the case in response to their sentencing recommendation being changed by Department of Justice leadership,” the outlet reported Wednesday.

“Tomeka Hart said she had remained silent about the case for months out of concern for her safety and ‘politicizing the matter.’ But the events this week led her to post on her Facebook account that she “can’t keep quiet any longer.” A copy of the posting was shared with CNN.”

She uploaded the post after the Department of Justice intervened in Stone’s case this week to push back on the original prosecutors’ draconian sentencing recommendation. The move was widely panned by both Democrats and the prosecutors themselves, who reportedly withdrew from the case altogether afterward.

“I want to stand up for Aaron Zelinsky, Adam Jed, Michael Marando, and Jonathan Kravis–the prosecutors on the Roger Stone trial who have all resigned from the case in response to the DOJ’s interference with their sentencing recommendation,” Hart reportedly wrote in her private Facebook post.

I’m standing up for them now because I was a juror on the case. In fact, I was the foreperson. … It pains me to see the DOJ now interfere with the hard work of the prosecutors. They acted with the utmost intelligence, integrity, and respect for our system of justice.”

But if that were true, then why did both the prosecutors and Obama appointment Judge Jackson, who’s already under scrutiny for her controversial history, allow such a clearly biased Democrat political operative to serve on the jury for a case involving such a well-known Republican figure?

And Hart wasn’t even the only partisan operative on the jury. There was also Seth Cousins, whom Fox News has determined donated to now-withdrawn Democrat presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke’s 2018 senatorial campaign and 2016 House campaign.

Moreover, following Stone’s conviction last November, Cousins hopped over to one of the country’s most notoriously left-wing papers, The Washington Post, and published a column defending his decision to convict the former Trump campaign official.

“Since we delivered that verdict, I have been taken aback by the accounts of pundits and politicians that our decision was somehow the product of a deeply polarized, partisan divide,” he wrote. “Let me be clear: We did not convict Stone based on his political beliefs or his expression of those beliefs. We did not convict him of being intemperate or acting boorishly.”

“We convicted him of obstructing a congressional investigation, of lying in five specific ways during his sworn congressional testimony and of tampering with a witness in that investigation.”

In reality, Cousins and his peers, including a foreperson who once ran for office as a Democrat, convicted Stone for a number of process crimes that were committed during what now appears to be an illegitimate investigation, i.e., the Russian collusion delusion hoax and conspiracy theory.

Stone’s jury may have also contained a woman “whose husband still works at the Justice Department division that played a role in the Russia probe,” as reported by Politico.

In a report published last November, the outlet described the jury-picking process in Stone’s case and noted how the first potential juror was clearly biased.

And that first juror was an only-in-D.C. character, a former Obama-era press secretary for the Office of Management and Budget whose husband still works at the Justice Department division that played a role in the Russia probe that ultimately snagged Stone,” Politico reported.

She even acknowledged having negative views of President Donald Trump, and said she had followed the media coverage of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.”

Yet Judge Jackson “denied a request from Stone’s lawyers to strike the woman as a potential juror.”

It’s not clear, however, whether the woman was ultimately chosen to serve on the jury.

What’s clear is that neither the prosecutors nor the judge presiding over the case expressed any concerns about the jury potentially being stacked with partisan operatives.

Late Wednesday, Fox News host Tucker Carlson pleaded with the president to pardon Stone. Given these new findings, he may want to reissue the plea on Thursday.
