Fragile Omar and Tlaib say they held hands during SOTU’s triggering parts to support each other

Antisemitic Muslim Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar were so triggered by President Donald Trump lauding America’s accomplishments and honoring its heroes during his State of the Union address Tuesday that they felt compelled to hold hands through certain parts of it.

“It was a huge struggle for me,” Tlaib admitted at a far-left-wing town hall event Friday at Howard University in Washington, D.C., as she spoke while sitting alongside Omar.

I don’t think people realize that it’s worse when you’re actually there. And actually, there were moments of triggering, and I kept holding your hands — and we intentionally sat next each other to support each other.”

The Jew-hating congresswomen felt so triggered, in fact, that they left the address early, though their reasons for leaving have been — much like everything else they say — full of inconsistencies.

Speaking on MSNBC after the conclusion of Tuesday’s address, Tlaib initially claimed that hearing the president speak about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh had provoked the antisemitic duo into stepping away from the function.

“Just as a woman in America, the fact that he rightfully was accused and having an incredibly strong woman come for the public and the world and tell her story of sexual assault by this person who was appointed to the Supreme Court is just … I couldn’t stand still and not do anything about it and I needed to walk away from that,” she said.

Listen:

Kavanaugh almost had his confirmation derailed in late 2018 after a batch of since-discredited women began accusing him of a litany of highly dubious sex crimes.

Yet during Friday’s event — which was hosted by a self-described “radical” group known as “The Rising Majority,” in collaboration with “Democracy Now!” — Tlaib told a different story, claiming her departure was based on the president’s decision to honor cancer-stricken conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh.

“We ended up leaving, especially when they just went full out applause when they put that medal around Rush,” she said, according to Fox News.

It’s not clear which reason is legitimate and which one is a lie. What’s known for certain is that Tlaib and Omar were still present at the address when the president paid tribute to one of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen, Charles McGee.

But according to left-wing journalist Ben Jacobs, they were among a small contingent of Democrats who refused to stand for the tribute — presumably because they were triggered again.

It’s not clear what they found “triggering” about a 100-year-old black military veteran being honored for his exemplary service to America …

Also speaking at Friday’s evening were fellow “squad” members Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley,

Besides demanding that all public transportation be made free — a demand that’s become popular among left-wing rioters and thugs — Pressley also used her time at the far-left event to threaten those who “don’t see the light” vis-a-vis her radical political ideology.

“[W]e’re going to keep telling and elevating these stories with the hopes that you will see the light,” said Pressley. “And if you don’t see the light, then we will bring the fire. That’s just how it progresses,” she said.

Listen:

Unlike Tlaib and Omar, neither Ocasio-Cortez nor Pressley walked out of the SOTU address after being triggered — but only because neither even attended the event.

“The State of the Union is hurting because of the occupant of the White House, who consistently demonstrates contempt for the American people, contempt for Congress & contempt for our constitution. I cannot in good conscience attend tonight’s sham,” Pressley announced Tuesday afternoon.

AOC soon followed suit.

Look:

Despite the “squad” members’ “triggering” over the president’s speech, his lauding of America and his tributes to heroes like McGee, members such as Tlaib, Omar, Ocasio-Cortez and Pressley did find value in one tiny aspect of the SOTU address.

Specifically, all four were thrilled by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s highly controversial and widely panned decision to tear up her copy of the SOTU address and thus disrespect not only the president but the people he’d honored.

Look:

So in summary, according to members of the “squad” — particularly Tlaib and Omar — it’s “triggering” for the president to celebrate America and its heroes but not “triggering” for the speaker of the House to behave like a disrespectful jerk and potentially violate the law
