James Woods exploded back onto social media after taking an extended “vacation” and made up for lost time with fiery takedowns of political figures.
From his first tweet in nine months, targeting Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the conservative actor unloaded one tweet after another over the next few hours, offering scathing commentary of the left and humble gratitude to his fans.
“I was on vacation awhile, avoiding the news,” Woods wrote. “How’d the #Mueller thing work out? The #impeachment scam? Who won the #Iowa caucuses? Is #MichaelAvenatti still a contender for the Democratic nomination for President? How’s #JeffreyEpstein doing?”

In the tweets that followed, Woods interacted with fans and responded to some who welcomed him back, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Juanita Broaddrick.
Thank you, Senator. Did they arrest him yet again during his acceptance speech? https://t.co/8R5DCcPg3j

And hopefully you will eventually be victorious in your quest to bring the #RapistClinton to justice. We will stand by you until he is behind bars (hopefully monitored by the same guards who watched over Jeffrey Epstein). https://t.co/SmgcJ1Mrhp

“I simply can’t express how honored I am by the kindness and warmth I have received by so many of my Twitter friends tonight. You are genuinely such fine people,” he told his 2 million followers. “Thank you. I am in tears.”
Woods stayed off Twitter after the social media platform temporarily locked his account claiming he broke its terms of service by engaging in “targeted harassment of someone.” His tweeted comment, “If you try to kill the King, you better not miss.’ #HangThemAll,” was directed at no one.
Of course Twitter doesn’t inform his followers. @RealJamesWoods has received the following email: pic.twitter.com/2nnnVBVktQ

But the outspoken conservative had had enough of Twitter censoring his posts and called it quits, declaring last May that “as long as Jack Dorsey remains the coward he seems to be, my Twitter days are in the past,” referring to the site’s founder.
His return to the platform Thursday came amid an endless supply of news with the end of President Trump’s impeachment trial, the 2020 presidential races and more. Woods jumped in with both feet, slamming Hillary Clinton for her tweet about the impeachment fallout as “dangerous territory.”
You, of course, will never be impeached. One up side to being the most famous loser in American history. So there’s that… https://t.co/cSvLStDdpJ

He called out 2020 hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren as a “liar and hypocrite.”
Not enough room in the Warren TeePee for women of color? Not a surprise, considering what a liar and hypocrite she has been since, well, forever… https://t.co/c84h0HH2pZ

In a particularly scathing tweet, Woods slammed Sen. Mitt Romney for voting with Democrats in Trump’s impeachment and justifying it with a speech about his prayerful consideration before making the decision.
“This is the guy who passes a silent stinker in the elevator and then proceeds to lecture everybody about intestinal management. You’ll never come back from this one, Mittens. Even your magic pants won’t save you,” he wrote.
Woods warned 2020 contender Sen. Bernie Sanders that “the fix is in” in the Democratic presidential race.
Poor Bernie. They aren’t going to let this poor old fool win no matter what he does. He sold his soul to Hillary for a crappy house on a lake in 2016, and the devil will take her due. They will never let you have it, Bernie. The fix is in.

And went on to respond to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s daughter and her remarks about her mother’s infamous tearing up of Trump’s State of the Union speech.
Actually Italian grandmothers are loving, charming, and endowed with the wisdom of the ages. Speaker Pelosi’s classless gesture bore none of those qualities. I’m not casting aspersions on your mother personally, however, given her obvious condition. https://t.co/qqHqhepNwN

“I’ve tried so hard this past year to live without the wealth of knowledge available on Twitter,” he told his followers in his first tweet of 2020.
But “this kind of blazing insight can be found nowhere else,” he added in the pinned tweet aimed at Ocasio-Cortez.
Woods’ name has taken several top trending spots on Twitter for hours and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. As his fans look forward to Woods’ full-throttle return to Twitter, his enemies had best buckle up.
