Slow-motion SOTU footage and close-ups signal Pelosi’s speech-ripping stunt was premeditated

New evidence signals that despite her indignant claims otherwise, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s speech-ripping stunt at this year’s State of the Union address Tuesday wasn’t a spur of the moment action but rather one she’d planned at least somewhat in advance.

Video footage from the speech shows that as President Donald Trump began speaking about conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh’s cancer diagnosis about halfway through the speech, Pelosi grabbed her copy of the SOTU address, pulled it underneath her desk and then proceeded to add a small tear to it.

Close-up video footage from the moment the full tear occurred after the president concluded speaking roughly 30 minutes later likewise shows that she wound up tearing into the document from the very spot she’d added what appears to be a pre-tear to it earlier.

The emergence of this footage came after the speaker’s office slammed Vice President Mike Pence for suggesting that Pelosi had planned the whole affair.

“It felt like it [was planned],” the VP said the following morning on FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” adding that it marked a “new low” for her.

“I didn’t see her do it. I found out just a few moments later, and I think it was a new low. I wasn’t sure if she was ripping up the speech or ripping up the Constitution,” he reportedly said.

In response, Pelosi’s office pounced.

“The Vice President’s complicity in last night’s reality show is disgusting. He is in no position to lecture anyone about the Constitution, decorum or respect as he cheerleads the mistruths of his master,” Drew Hammill, the speaker’s deputy chief of staff, reportedly said in a statement.

But in his FNC comments, Pence had also addressed the president’s alleged “mistruths.”

“I don’t actually get her take on this,” he’d said. “Now she’s saying that it was filled with lies. What lies were there? I mean, I watched the president build this speech. Everything about the economy, everything about the military, everything about President Trump’s decisive action taking out al-Baghdadi and Qasem Soleimani, every story about Americans, the hopeful aspirational tone at the end.”

It’s as if the speaker believes indisputable facts are lies …

With it now having been confirmed that Pelosi’s final tear was at least somewhat planned — why else would she have ripped pre-tears into the document — backlash, criticism, and mockery have begun mounting from those who are fed-up with the Democrats’ constant, purposeful lies and also annoyed by the speaker’s disrespect toward Limbaugh.

“As with everything the Democrats do they probably took polling to see what would get a reaction that they could get their lap dogs in the media to run with,” the president’s son Donald Trump Jr. angrily speculated.

Others joined him in expressing outrage.

Look:

Despite the disrespect Pelosi showed toward the president, Limbaugh, and everybody else who was honored at the SOTU address Tuesday, she continues to be heralded as a veritable “hero” by the Democrat Party’s increasingly radical base.

“When they go low, we go lower,” Joy Behar of “The View” said Wednesday. “That’s the only thing that works with these criminals and fascists who are running the country right now. Sorry, but that’s what works.”

Sorry, but America’s duly elected president, Donald J. Trump, is neither a criminal nor a fascist.
