Prankster proposed to Elizabeth Warren onstage, makes her talk to his ‘incel’ buddy

Two naughty pranksters interrupted Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa this Saturday, shocking her in the process.

As Warren was speaking, one of the pranksters, Jason Selvig of the infamous comedy duo The Good Liars, stepped on stage, dropped to his knee and pulled out what appeared to be an engagement ring box.

As the senator stared back at him in what appeared to be shock and trepidation, he suddenly blurts out, “Will you be my candidate for president?”

Warren then breathed a very audible sigh of relief as Selvig continued his prank and asked, “Will you marry me?”

Having apparently realized that Selvig was just joshing around with her, the senator then said “I will be your candidate for president” and proceeded to hug him.

But the prank wasn’t over quite yet …

Watch the full prank below:

Selvig then introduced Warren to his comedic partner in crime, Davram Stiefler, whom he referred to by the name “Dale,” and claimed that “Dale” was involuntarily celibate.

“My friend Dale, where’s my friend Dale? There he is. He’s an incel, and he just wanted to say his first words to a woman in a long time,” the prankster maintained.

“Hi Elizabeth!” Stiefler then shouted.

“Hi Dale!” Warren replied.

“It’s the first time he’s ever spoken to a woman,” Selvig said, accidentally contradicting himself.

“It’s, it’s, it’s good to see you. I’m glad you’re here Dale, and I’m hanging on to the ring,” Waren replied, referring to her wedding ring. “So I will be your candidate. Yes. All right, thank you. Take care, take care guys.”

Before the clip ended, the senator briefly addressed her husband, Bruce, who was present in the audience.

“Bruce, you okay with this sweetheart? Okay good,” she said.

Her relatively calm demeanor — save for the initial shock at the beginning — provoked some praise on social media from her base of supporters.

But the successful prank also inspired concerns — and anger, in some cases — about the glaring lack of security at Democrat events.

“Why in the f— were they allowed to get so close to her?” one critic bellowed. “Where was security? They need to beef up security, this shouldn’t of been able to happen, things are dangerous for our candidates.”

Look (*Language warning):

They may have a point.

Just a day before their prank at Warren’s event, Selvig and Stiefler performed another prank at an Iowa event for 2020 contender Andrew Yang. And like the Warren prank, this one also reportedly involved them easily rushing the stage.

Take note of the security guard standing idly by in the second photo.

Sometime before the Warren rally Saturday, the duo also performed a prank at an Iowa event for former Vice President Joe Biden. Except this prank was less brazen.

Instead of rushing on stage, Selvig kept interrupting the 2020 contender to ask him for advice on how to get his estranged wife back.

“My wife recently left me,” he said. She’s divorcing me. What can I do to get her back? What advice would you give someone like me to get her back?”

“I’ll talk to you afterwards, OK? I’m happy to. I promise I’ll talk to you afterwards,” Biden promptly replied.

But Selvig continued bothering Biden, spurring the former VP into dropping one hell of a zinger:

I’m beginning to see why your wife left you,” he jokingly said, to which the audience members (sans the unidentified man) responded to by bursting into laughter and applause. “Come on, man!”
