Newbie Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) says she’ll boo Hillary Clinton — whether Democrats like it or not. Tlaib booed when Hillary’s name came up during a Bernie Sanders event in Iowa Friday.
When the moderator told the audience not to boo, Tlaib stridently quipped: “No, I’ll boo! The haters will shut up on Monday when we win.”
The viral video shows Tlaib participating in a panel discussion at a Bernie Sanders event with Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) and fellow “Squad” member Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).
When moderator Dionna Langford mentioned that Hillary said “nobody likes” Bernie in a recent interview, the audience started to boo.
Langford reacted by telling the crowd: “We’re not gonna boo. We’re not gonna boo. We’re classy here.”
Rashida Tlaib, who was laughing alongside Omar and Jayapal, interjected: “No, I’ll boo. BOO! You all know I can’t be quiet. We’re going to boo. That’s alright. The haters will shut up on Monday when we win.”

Last week, Hillary enraged Bernie supporters after trashing Senator Sanders, whom she ran against in 2016. Specifically, Clinton said: “Nobody likes him. Nobody wants to work with him. He got nothing done. He was a career politician.”
Hillary then insulted millions of Bernie supporters by calling them gullible suckers. “I feel so bad that people got sucked into it,” she quipped.
Clinton made the remarks while promoting her four-part documentary series, “Hillary.” The documentary will be released on Hulu on March 6. In typical Hillary fashion, excerpts have been conveniently leaked in dribs and drabs in the lead-up to the crucial Feb. 3 Iowa caucuses.
Sanders has surged in the polls this week, even though he was forced off the campaign trail due to his mandatory attendance at the Senate impeachment trial.
It’s clear that Sanders is not the establishment Democratic Party’s choice, based on the repeated, multi-pronged attacks on him from Democrats Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren.
Unfortunately for his rivals, Bernie’s poll numbers rocketed in the aftermath of those coordinated media smears. If anything, the attacks only bolstered Sanders’ popularity, as many see him as a sympathetic victim of a rigged Democratic primary.

Meanwhile, Tlaib earned props from fellow liberals who are annoyed that Hillary insists on interjecting herself into the Democratic primary.
One person tweeted: “There’s absolutely nothing wrong with Rashida Tlaib booing Hillary Clinton. Hillary is divisive, and has continuously attacked Bernie, and his supporters, since 2016. I boo Hillary Clinton too.”

Another quipped: “Hillary Clinton has been vocally, searingly, personally insulting toward Bernie in the run-up to Iowa because she doesn’t want him to win the caucus. She’s free to shoot her shot. But why is it a crisis for democracy if Rashida Tlaib does the same thing?”

However, Hillary loyalists trashed Tlaib. Neera Tanden, a former top advisor to Hillary’s failed 2016 presidential campaign, suggested that Tlaib’s diss was an example of “white male rage and misogyny.”
