Dems release fan-boy photos of Lev Parnas at Trump events and hope Americans fall for it

The liberazzi–progressive press hounds of outrage–are currently seizing on claims by the indicted Lev Parnas and House Democrats that he was close to President Trump and his family, as evidenced by a number of political-fanboy photos and What’s App exchanges, which can be read here.

The cellphone images released by House Democrats appear to show little more than the types of poses the Trumps, their advisers, and a myriad of other public figures take with fans and hangers-on who frequent public or campaign-donor political gatherings.

Democrats released several images and text messages taken from the phone of Parnas which was turned over to the House Judiciary Committee. The images show him with Trump and his family members and are part of an effort to contest the president’s insistence that he does not know Parnas, other than having met him at campaign fundraisers.

Parnas is reportedly a former associate of and reported “fixer” for Rudy Giuliani, a personal attorney for Trump. Parnas and his partner Igor Fruman reportedly worked for Giuliani in an effort that Dems say was an alleged scheme to pressure the Ukrainian president to announce an investigation into Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Desperate for something new to hang their hopes on for taking down the president, on Wednesday 4.5 million liberals tuned in to an interview with Parnas on The Rachel Maddow Show at a rate that set the MSNBC show’s all-time record for viewership, according to Mediaite.

During the interview, Parnas claimed that his own attorney, John Dowd, told him to be a “good boy” after he was arrested for campaign violations, saying the former Trump attorney wanted him to keep quiet. Maddow framed it as Dowd telling him to “sacrifice yourself to protect Trump.”

The claims made by Parnas are highly suspect by any reasonable measure, as his story has repeatedly changed. In fact, none other than well-known expert on fake news Jake Tapper of CNN called out Democrats for trusting and using anything Parnas says as evidence. On Thursday, Tapper told a CNN panel on “The Lead”: “We can’t ignore Parnas has a serious credibility problem. He’s under indictment for campaign finance charges. The foreign minister of Ukraine told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that he doesn’t trust a word Parnas is saying. And yet, I see people out there on social media — Democrats — acting as if this guy is the second coming of Theodore Roosevelt or something.”

Parnas has claimed he was “on the team” digging up dirt for Giuliani and Trump in Ukraine.
