Fox News host Sean Hannity warned Iran that “their illicit nuclear sites may finally be annihilated” and their oil refineries “could soon go up in flames” if President Trump responds to their missile attacks with brute force.

“Their illicit nuclear sites may finally be annihilated,” Hannity said Jan. 7. “And the mullahs of Iran, they may want to keep a watchful eye on the sky tonight as they look from their bunkers, where I’m sure they are hiding. Powerful U.S. military forces are in position tonight. We can report that six B-52 bombers are on their way to the region.”

Multiple media outlets confirmed that six long-range B-52 bombers were deployed to the Diego Garcia military base in the Indian Ocean in response to Iranian missile attacks on two Iraqi airbases housing American soldiers. No Americans were injured or killed.

Hannity warned: “If you work in an Iranian refinery, you might want to get a new job. I’d start now. The three major oil refineries could soon go up in flames.”

Iran’s primary source of revenue is oil. If the United States bombs their oil fields, Iran — which is already broke as a joke — would be decimated financially.

After Iran launched more than a dozen ballistic missiles at two Iraqi airbases housing U.S. and coalition forces, Hannity said the move was a major escalation of the 40-year hostilities between the United States and Iran.

“We are just finding out how stupid the leaders of Iran actually are,” Hannity. “They actually think they can attack America and get away with it. They need to think again.”

Hannity continued:  “There’s going to be a massive price to pay. They’re going to get hit hard. Their hostility will now be met with the full force of the greatest, most advanced, most sophisticated military this world has ever seen.”

However, Sean Hannity underscored that the United States does not want a bloody, expensive ground war (something President Trump has repeatedly insisted).

“We don’t want boots on the ground,” Hannity said. “The President has made it clear that he’s not putting boots on the ground. We might need a few more intelligence people to protect specific areas. I know the Washington swamp creatures, they like to send our kids to war.”

Senator Lindsey Graham called Iran’s missile attacks a definite “act of war” and said President Trump has “the authority under Article II to respond.”

Graham, an attorney, is an Air Force veteran who’s the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He also serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Senator Graham issued this ominous warning to Iran: “Let me say tonight if you are watching television in Iran: Your fate is in your own hands in terms of the regime’s economic viability.”

“This was an act of war by any reasonable definition. The missiles were launched from Iran. The President has all the authority he needs under Article II to respond. It was an act of war by the regime that for the last 40 years has been a cancer in the Mideast. When they say they want to destroy Israel, they are not kidding.

The President has to do a couple things. He doesn’t want regime change. He wants the behavior of the regime to change in three areas: Their ballistic missile program needs to change. They need to stop being the largest state sponsor of terrorism, and we need a nuclear deal that does not ensure them a pathway to a bomb like Obama.

Obama was kind to the Iranians. Trump is not going to be kind.”

Lindsey Graham praised President Trump for ordering the airstrike that killed terrorist Qassem Soleimani last week.

“We are dealing with religious Nazis. They have been disrupting the Mideast for 40 years,” Graham said. “Here’s what the President understands about the Iranians: They are never going to change until you make them change. For the last 40 years, they have been wreaking havoc on the world. We’ve got a new sheriff in town.”
