Language warning ( of course):

Comedian Ricky Gervais fired back at critics who have been tearing into him over his reality check on Hollywood during the Golden Globe Awards show.

No sooner had the 58-year-old actor and creator of the British television series “The Office” delivered his scathing monologue, which hilariously called out Hollywood elites for clichéd attitudes and behavior, than the left predictably turned on him for hurting their sensitive feelings.

The same liberals who cheer on the expected award show rants and hysteria about President Donald Trump and his supporters now slammed Gervais, no fan of the president, for shredding Tinseltown over its hypocrisy.

“How the f*** can teasing huge corporations, and the richest, most privileged people in the world be considered right wing?” the five-time Golden Globes host asked in a tweet on Monday.

Indeed.

The volley of mocking observations during the 77th annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday were aimed specifically, with Gervais airing Hollywood’s dirty laundry before calling out the “woke” attendees.

“You say you’re woke,” Gervais told the audience, “but the companies you work for are unbelievable. Apple, Amazon, Disney–If ISIS started a streaming service you’d call your agent wouldn’t you?”

“So if you do win an award tonight don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg,” he added, referring to the teenage climate activist embraced by liberals.

“So if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your god and then f**k off,” he concluded.

No doubt, a predictable night filled with anti-Trump jokes would have made the liberals much happier and, according to a Los Angeles Times’ television critic, Gervais was the “last thing anyone needed.”

And the overly-sensitive continued to whine about having the mirror turned on themselves.

Of course, the more liberals complained, the funnier it was.

Hours after the show, Gervais thanked fans for their support in a tweet declaring he was happy the show was over.

But 24 hours later, Gervais’ pointed question to his critics raised a valid point.

Many on Twitter were ready with their take on the left’s meltdown over the monologue by Gervais.
