Dems furious Schumer and ‘Gang of 8’ weren’t included in Iran briefing, but Lindsey Graham was

Democrats are being mocked and criticized for their temper tantrums in the wake of President Trump’s ordered airstrike in Iraq.

Remarks from Sen. Lindsey Graham indicating that he was briefed about the imminent strike that killed an Iranian military leader sent the left into spasms over why Democrat leaders were not included in the discussions.

“I was briefed about the potential operation when I was down in Florida. I appreciate being brought into the orbit.” the Republican from South Carolina told Fox News, indicating he was with the president at his Palm Beach home.

The fact that top Senate Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and other members of the “Gang of Eight” were not briefed on the matter of national security sparked an outcry.

“This action was taken without the consultation of the Congress,” Pelosi declared in a tweet condemning the president’s decision.

And the complaints continued to pour in.

But Democrats were schooled in short order as Twitter users took to reminding them of their track record and delivering a brutal reality check.
