Trump trolls Congress members with Christmas ‘gifts’ Dems don’t seem to appreciate

President Donald Trump certainly knows how to celebrate Christmas.

In celebration of Christmas — or “impeachmas,” as House Democrats and their shamelessly partisan left-wing media allies now call it — the president chose to troll House and Senate Democrats alike with a very merry gift.

The gift, as reported by annoyed Democrats, consisted of a package containing a copy of the impeachment letter that the president wrote to Pelosi earlier this week.

Also included were reportedly two Christmas cards — a large 16×12 White House card, and a smaller one.

Look:

You mad, boo?

Yes, actually, it appears they are indeed mad.

“It’s the same six-page screed where the president just goes off the deep end, making up his own universe — fact-free universe,” Sen. Chris Van Hollen complained in a video that he shared to Twitter when the cards arrived Wednesday afternoon.

In reality, the president’s letter just outlined some of the indisputable facts about the Democrats’ impeachment efforts and the “woefully inadequate” evidence they’ve used to justify it.

“I’m not sure why he thought this should be part of the holiday card delivery,” Van Hollen’s rant continued. “But I do wish Americans all good cheer in this season and I hope everybody else will just stick to the holiday cards, Christmas cards, New Year’s cards. No other sort of rants this holiday season.”

If you didn’t know what to get the senator for Christmas, you should now.

Watch:

Also among the apparent victims of the president’s trollish Christmas sentiments was radical socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

She received the same package, except that she claims her package was devoid of an actual Christmas card.

Look:

It’s not clear whether she’s lying, though she certainly has a track record for mistruths.

But by the same token, it’s a fact that neither Trump nor the GOP care much for AOC, so perhaps he really did abstain from sending her a Christmas card.

In response to the Christmas gift, some in the media have for their part given a bit of credence to a new conspiracy theory pertaining to first lady Melania Trump’s signature.

“What’s perhaps most mysterious about this move is the signatures included on the card(s) from Trump, first lady Melania Trump, and their son Barron Trump. Melania’s signature is sharp and zigzaggy — just like Trump’s right next to it,” The Week reported.

Though it cautioned that this “sharp and zigzaggy” appearance is “literally just what her signature looks like,” the theory is already spreading on social media:

Others meanwhile claim the trollish cards are further proof that the president is the one who’s unhinged …

Angry rants over Christmas cards, conspiracy theories about Melania’s signature and unhinged accusations that the president is the crazy one …

It sounds like a Democrat Christmas, alright!
