President Donald Trump certainly knows how to celebrate Christmas.
In celebration of Christmas — or “impeachmas,” as House Democrats and their shamelessly partisan left-wing media allies now call it — the president chose to troll House and Senate Democrats alike with a very merry gift.
The gift, as reported by annoyed Democrats, consisted of a package containing a copy of the impeachment letter that the president wrote to Pelosi earlier this week.
Also included were reportedly two Christmas cards — a large 16×12 White House card, and a smaller one.
True story: there is a White House staffer going around the Senate delivering to each office, as a package, the incoherent, scathing Pelosi letter AND…wait for it…a giant 16×12 White House Christmas card (along with, implausibly, a second smaller Christmas card).

About this war on Christmas. On top of the Grinchy stuff Trump says/does every day, he just inserted an unhinged impeachment tirade in place of the annual White House Christmas card. I call on Trump to end his cruel War on Christmas & try being a normal, decent person for once. pic.twitter.com/iRQxaAF3Up

Thanks for this card & your 6 page impeachment screed. Bizarrely delivered together. Happy Holidays & best wishes for the coming year! pic.twitter.com/kUDektXMvt

You mad, boo?
Yes, actually, it appears they are indeed mad.
“It’s the same six-page screed where the president just goes off the deep end, making up his own universe — fact-free universe,” Sen. Chris Van Hollen complained in a video that he shared to Twitter when the cards arrived Wednesday afternoon.
“I’m not sure why he thought this should be part of the holiday card delivery,” Van Hollen’s rant continued. “But I do wish Americans all good cheer in this season and I hope everybody else will just stick to the holiday cards, Christmas cards, New Year’s cards. No other sort of rants this holiday season.”
If you didn’t know what to get the senator for Christmas, you should now.
Also among the apparent victims of the president’s trollish Christmas sentiments was radical socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
She received the same package, except that she claims her package was devoid of an actual Christmas card.
They’re coming into the House, too. (No Christmas card here – but no coal, either) pic.twitter.com/gZgnC7vqms

It’s not clear whether she’s lying, though she certainly has a track record for mistruths.
But by the same token, it’s a fact that neither Trump nor the GOP care much for AOC, so perhaps he really did abstain from sending her a Christmas card.
In response to the Christmas gift, some in the media have for their part given a bit of credence to a new conspiracy theory pertaining to first lady Melania Trump’s signature.
“What’s perhaps most mysterious about this move is the signatures included on the card(s) from Trump, first lady Melania Trump, and their son Barron Trump. Melania’s signature is sharp and zigzaggy — just like Trump’s right next to it,” The Week reported.
Though it cautioned that this “sharp and zigzaggy” appearance is “literally just what her signature looks like,” the theory is already spreading on social media:
He signed both. Fake Melania can’t repeat the originals signature

Trump sends Christmas Cards to the Democratic Congress with his 6 page letter to Pelosi inside. Looks to me like he signed Melania’s name to his cards. Why? Talk about a dysfunctional human.
— Erin Rogers (@erogers8877) December 19, 2019
Looks like Trump signed Melania’s name for her again.

I notice Trump signed for Melania and Barron, attempting to look like they signed it, a forget too…he just doesn’t get morals and values or right and wrong.

I refuse to believe that’s Melania’s signature. https://t.co/NdBY20IMhC

Melania Trump’s signature?
— Sunny (@KarangeMan) December 19, 2019
@mitchellreports @Morning_Joe I saw the giant, gold embossed Christmas card and it was signed by Donald and Melania. However, it is more than apparent that he signed her name because it is in the same exact “style” as Trump’s loquacious signature. Can’t she sign herself?
— Ariel Akiva (@ArielArielben4) December 19, 2019
Could it possibly be any more obvious that Trump signed Melania’s name???

Others meanwhile claim the trollish cards are further proof that the president is the one who’s unhinged …

Presidementia Trump sent his 6 page “Nancy Pelosi letter” to ALL Members of CONGRESS in a WH Christmas card. ?? He’s deteriorating more and more every day!

Angry rants over Christmas cards, conspiracy theories about Melania’s signature and unhinged accusations that the president is the crazy one …
It sounds like a Democrat Christmas, alright!
